If you don’t like to wear hiking boot then you should go for this shoe as it looks and feel even better then a hiking boot. They are pretty comfortable too, but the thing I didn’t like is that the back rubbed against my heel and therefore I have to wear higher socks to fix this problem. I am using this shoe as an alternative of my winter boots, but only when there is no snow outside. I don’t think so that they can work well in snow so why to take a risk. These shoes are water resistant but not water proof which is an important difference to tell and you should keep in mind while purchasing. They are very good for traveling around. They need break in time. They are true to size. I have a narrow feet so they fit perfectly but if your feet is wide then you have to think over it. For me overall it’s a good purchase. 🙂
