  1. Joe and Sam MOM says:

My son wears a 15 to 16 (depending on the shoe) length/2E width shoe. I doubt we’ll make it through a second winter with regard to being able to wear the same size next season. But, so far they’re warm and dry and comfortable. I did forget that Propet shoes are cut to accommodate orthotics so the width is very wide and if you don’t wear orthotics or don’t wear them all the time, you’ll need to adjust the width down some.

I bought these for my husband for Christmas and he was amazed at how lightweight they were. He loves them because he said they felt like they were already broken in from the first time he put them on!

  3. Stephen Ward says:

This is a very good light boot with a leather upper. The appearance is excellent. I had trouble judging the right size when I ordered but the boots came in a true 10 1/2 D which I ordered. The boots were ready to wear out of the box and I wouldn’t hesitate to order them at this price.

  4. Cold in Iowa says:

I was looking for a waterproof boot for winter when I spotted these boots. I’m glad I followed the advice to buy a smaller size than I normally would buy. They seem a full size larger than the size 9 I ordered. The width is pretty close to what I expected though. I’m very happy with the quality. They seem to be well made and they’re warmer than I expected. The sole provides a good grip in the snow. The lacing system is a bit clumsy. But I guess if that’s my only complaint, I can live with it.

  5. Bob Eckert says:

I was very satisfied with the fit of the boot. The quality of workmanship was excellent and it seemed like they were already broken in. They were very comfortable right out of the box. Living in the north woods of Wisconsin requires a good pair of boots and this pair fits the bill.

These are very comfortable! I was in a motorcycle accident 5 years ago and sustained a broken left ankle. As a result, none of my shoes fit so I had to always be looking for a roomy toe box and good arch support. These Cliff Walkers fit very well. Only trouble I’ve had is tightening the laces. I took them out of the loop on the tongue and now they tie easier and tighter. Anyone wanting to order these should go by their regular size and they should fit good.

I`ve owned quite a few pairs of propet stability walkers and think they are great, that is why I ordered these cliff walkers, they are just as comfortable as I hoped. I wear a size 15 wide and have trouble finding shoes let alone ones that are comfortable and look good, these do both. These have a lot of room in the toe box and run wider than any shoes I have ever worn, so, you might want to order the a size narrower than your normal size. They need virtualy no break in. Would buy these again.

Should have believed the review. 1st pair was just too long! Got next smaller size 12 with XXW width, and I love ’em! No break-in required. First shoe I have had that I have absolutely no complaints about. Living in Upstate NY in the winter, I need a tough shoe and this one is,but comfortable at same time. Doesn’t look bad either. I am buying another Propet white Stability Walker.

I do not like the offset hook (eylets) they are hard to tie up in the dark. The strings are too long and I had to buy a new pair. I put extra padding under insole to make the fit better so now they are very comfortable. I don’t think I will buy another pair of Propet shoes.

  10. David says:

I’m trying a second pair hoping it will be an improvement on the first, which was not very waterproof (despite the claim) and whose side-panel stitching gave out after less than two years of moderate use. My reason for trying again: It’s extremely comfortable for my wide (EEEE) feet. I usually wear 8.5, but was “too” wide (which is a first) so I’m wearing an 8, which is perfect. I tried a 4E New Balance waterproof boot (977GT) and wasn’t nearly as comfortable. I’m hoping pair #2 will work better for me, but suspect this is a classic case of “you get what you pay for.”

  11. Sally says:

I bought these for my boyfriend, who is hard to fit, is fussy about shoes, and disapproves of buying footwear on-line. He absolutely loves them. They are lightweight, fit his wide foot, and have been waterproof — even in the 6 or 7 inches of slush we’ve had here recently. He says they grip well on ice and are very warm, too.

  12. J Kayes says:

I like the water proof Quality and the ankle support afforded by this shoe. I was Quite surprised that the original pair I ordered a 13 2EW was so huge. They were an inch to long and way wide. I wear a 13 4E in most other shoes. I re-ordered a 12EW and it fit perfectly. If you are ordering these shoes get them one size smaller in length and width and you should be Fine. Soles are a bit Slippery on Wet or icy surfaces.

  13. Barbara says:

The shoe looked very good; however when I wore it hiking, or just walking around they were very uncomfortable, and they came apart at the seams somewhat. I am hoping to get a refund; however I have worn them trying to break them in to see if they would become more comfortable, then I was going to have them repaired; but they are very uncomfortable still and make my feet hurt so badly wearing them. I tried extra cushioning insoles as well; and double socks. I would not recommend these shoes.

  14. Frankie says:

This boot/shoe is great in feel and fit but already showing too much wear on the uppers for no longer than I’ve had them. The boot insert is more of a hassle than a help as it constantly shifts and bunches up in the toe of the boot and does not stay put.

  15. AzDon says:

I have a “charcot” foot and my orthopedic surgeon suggested I get a boot shoe for extra ankle support and toe depth. When I showed him these, he said they were exactly what he wanted. However, I found them somewhat stiff in the beginning but they’re starting to break in. I wear them with none of the inserts that came with them but instead with custom orthotics. I would recommend them for folks who have wide feet, and need extra support. They have both.

Hello, I am a dishwasher who’s feet get wet everyday (commercial dishwashers). I needed a boot that would be comfortable, lightweight and waterproof. This boot does all that and the 6″ padded shaft is also comfortable. I read to get this boot 1/2 size larger; however, I found the exact size fit as expected. It is not too tight or loose anywhere.
