These shoe are a blessing. 8 years ago I with injured my back. Now 5 surgeries later I can still barely move. Exercise is impossible due to extreme pain. I thought I’d give the Shape-ups a try. I was able to go grocery shopping for the fist time without causing an increase in pain. In fact I felt like I could do more. But I didn’t want to push my luck.
I decided to wear the Shape-ups doing stuff around the house that had always caused me pain. Well they worked, I spent more than an hour and a half fixing Lasagna (from scratch). Something I haven’t been able to do in 8 yrs. Prior to wearing the shape-ups, my maximum limit for standing anywhere was 20 mins. To go from 20 mins. to 90 mins. by just putting on a pair of shoes, is a miracle for me. And as a added benefit I’m getting much better butt muscles. All this happened within the first week of owning the Shape-ups. I can’t wait to find out what else I will be able to do and which muscles will start to tone up.

my feet don’t hurt anymore. I have a bunyon on my right foot. It doesn’t hurt after working all day. Many people ask how these shoes are. I recommend them to everyone, especially if you are on your feet all day like I am. The cost is what holds most people back from purchasing them.
I love my skechers that tye. My Mary Jane’s seem to run a little smaller and hurt the bones on the top of my feet. I have very narrow feet and to keep from walking out of the heel I have to keep them very tight which also makes my feet go to sleep.
First 15 minutes I was very concious of shape-ups, then I completely forgot about them and just felt my muscles working! Next time I put them on it was comfortable from the very beginning. they are working! It is especially useful for some one like me who is working full time and raising a kid alone. I don’t really have time to work-out, but these shoes help me build in execrcise in my daily routine.
Love these Skechers. A great shoe. I’ve never benefited from such a painless form of exercise. As one who never embraced the tennis shoe look that was so popular a few years ago for traveling back & forth to work, I would definitely wear Skechers Shape-ups now if I were traveling back & forthe to work. They are quite simply a good-looking shoe. The variety of styles and colors ensure that there are Skechers Shape-ups to go with almost any wardrobe selection with the exception of formal attire. They are really a good-looking, serviceable shoe. I plan to purchase at least 2 more pairs to go with my workout outfits and for occasions when I’m not exercising. A Great Shoe!
These Sketchers are lightweight thus making them very comfortable for daily wear. Examples of where I wear Skechers are a walk, shopping, or sporting events. I have found these shoes to be the best shoes for me to wear even when I will be standing for a period of time. Most shoes fill uncomfortable when standing for more than a couple of minutes but I feel like I am standing on pillows with these shoes. I really enjoy wearing these shoes.
Work puts me on my feet ten to twelve hours daily. My Hips, Knee joints, and Ankle joints as well as the muscles in my legs and lower back were beginning to ache. It has now been two weeks of wearing the Shape Ups and I’m feeling like a new person. Looking forward to the continued pleasure the Shape Ups are bringing me.
They truly are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn. I can feel the workout in my calves and thighs. I wear them everyday to work, shopping–everywhere. IF I had one complaint it would be that they pull my low cut socks down almost past my heels. But that is very minor to me. I LOVE THESE SHOES!!
I love these new Shape-Ups by Sketchers. I work 16-hour shifts at the hospital and My legs are tired by the end of the day from walking on hard tile all day. Now my legs and back don’t bother me at all since I’ve been wearing the Shape-Ups! I’m considering buying another pair to just wear outside of work. They are a little pricey, but you can’t beat the comfort and support!!
I love the fit and the comfort, plus the fact that they are working muscles. I am wearing them at work to break them in, but plan to walk and exercise in them. I highly recommend the shoes. I have told everyone I know they should have a pair.
This Sketchers Shoe is my favorite shoe I wear them all the time for everything, walking inside and outside, work, and working out at the gym,when I am cleaning house as well, I can’t stand to put another tennis shoe on because they hurt my feet. Love, Love, Love them! These Skechers are the BEST. I walk my dogs whenever I can, these are the best walking shoes ever. I have a very hard time getting shoes that are comfortable because I have several problems with my feet. The Skechers Stability shoes are by far the mose comfortable I ever remember owning.
i am usually a size 9.5, I had to return those and get size 10.
I am an RN that works 12 to 14 hour shifts. I walk all day. I bought these shoes to wear to work and to walk on the treadmill at the gym. These shoes make you want to walk around. I can feel the difference in my thighs and calves. I no longer go home with tired legs and stiff knees. Great shoe for medical personnel.
These shoes are fantastic. I am a nurse and am on my feet 12 hours a day, sometimes more. My feet no longer hurt when I am at work, because these shoes are the most comfortable shoes I have ever put on my feet. I love Skechers footwear and I will definitely buy another pair of the shape ups in the future. However, I recommend that you try them on before you buy them just in case you need a wide size.
I love these Shape Ups! I can feel the muscles in my butt working overtime with every step! And best of all they’re so comfortable for every day wear! I’ve got problems with foot pain but not since I’ve been wearing these shoes. Shape Ups are amazing and so great! I’d buy Skechers again.

I am an elem. schhool teacher…prek-2. I am on my feet all day at various speeds and flooring, up and down stairs and play equipment. I have never had such comfortable shoes for work. I still have energy at the end of the day!
I wear these to work where I’m standing and walking all day on concrete. I wear these with my casual clothes, jeans, etc. I have a bad foot after being overweight all my life and I’ve lost over a 120lbs but damage done. I’ve broken that foot and twisted it many times. This is my second pair of Shape-ups and I am in love with them. This style is different from the Fitness Junkie style I previously bought, and at first the fit seemed too snug, but that resolved in just a few wearings. Now these babies feel great! The cushioning can’t be beat and my knees thank me every day. The blue is a little more silvery than I had hoped, but it grew on me. I wear them to work with jeans and khakis and I wear them out with just about everything. I may be going for pair number three very soon!!
I was contemplating on seeing an Orthopedic doctor and maybe going to Physical Therapy for hip pain that I’ve had for years. When in Seattle, I saw the shoes and decided to try them when I returned home. The FIRST DAY I wore them, there was NO hip pain. I wear them everyday to work, they are the ONLY shoes I wear. My mother, who is in a nursing home also has hip paid and walks with a limp, I got her a pair also. She loves them. These shoes are absolutely wonderful. Where I work, I work on a concrete floor and it’s absolutely terrible for your back, knees, feet, etc. These shoes have helped eleviate pain from my back and are helping me tone up my thighs. I’m a wuss for working out, so wearing these to work forces me to work out and it’s so nice because I barely recognize it. I’m also trying to tone up to fit into a wedding dress and it’s really coming along. I am fitting! Yay!! They run a little small…I normally wear a 5/12 – 6 and these I had to get a 7. But otherwise they are abosolutely great! Thanks to Skechers for these inovative and truely work of art shoes!
I have had a bad back for some years and have tried several shoes over the years nothing has really helped my back like the skechers ups . the minute I stood up my back felt better. I’d recommend them to anyone with back problems.
These shape ups are really comfortable and I love the colors. I wear them to walk and have worn them to work. I wear jogging outfits and have worn jeans and other outfits with them. I have about 4 pair of slip on skechers and 2 dress pair. You could say, I LOVE SKECHERS. I want to get a pair to work in.
I work in a warehouse and stand and walk on cement floors. I always went home with painful feet and sore knees and hips. I bought these shoes and the change is wonderful. It truely is like walking in sand. The comfort is heavenly. I told my neighbor and he bough a pair and he likes them also.

I was very impressed with the quality of the SKECHERS Shape Ups-Stability fitness shoe but more importantly my daughter (who I bought them for)just loves how they feel on and couldnt be more excited about them. My only complaint is that they are not available in the local stores yet. Hurry we want more!
I wear these shoes everywhere. I forget I even have shoes on. I love to be barefooted, but when I wear these they are so comfortable that I keep them on. Because they are sneakers, i cannot wear them with skirts, but everything else… my other shoes are collecting dust.

I wear these shoes as much as possible. I have a bad back and wearing these shoes has helped me take long walks and have helped minimize my back pain. I wear them everywhere that does not demand dressier shoes and with jeans, shorts, and khakis. They are a little pricy, so I can’t buy as many as I would like – but I will be buying other styles.
My rheumatologist endorses my love affair with SKECHERS shoes because they make exercise much more possible for me. I have rheumatoid arthritis, fibromyalgia, and plantar fascia pain. The SKECHER SHAPE UP shoes take pressure off my heels, provide more benefit from my walking, and make me stand up straighter. The shoes are very lightweight, as well, which is crucial for a person with joint problems. I wear these shoes for walking exercise, shopping, and travel. I wear them with capri pants, jeans, and very casual skirts (like demin).
The SKECHERS Shape-Ups are fantastic for 12 hour shifts in the ER. They are also stylish and have the best cushion of any pair of shoes I’ve owned (and I have plenty)! I also wear them running errands and casual trips around town.
I am a surgical nurse and have started wearing these at work. I have back pain when standing in one place for long periods of time. These shoes have pretty much eliminated my back pain. They are very comfortable and supportive. They do seem to run 1/2 size short. They are worth the money for the comfort they provide.
I have had so many comments on how cute they are and are they comfortable. I tell them they are the best shoes I have ever worn. I work on cement floors all day long and my feet never hurt. I have had foot problems in the past and have none since wearing these everyday. My husband wants a pair but needs the wider shoe. When these become available we will be getting him some. I wear them to town shopping and to work everyday. I usually wear jeans all the time but would wear them with nice slacks too.
I love the shoes I normally wear a 7.5 but I wish I would of ordered a 8 after I wore them awhile my back doesn’t hurt as bad after walking awhile I have medical problems so this really is a benifit like I said I just wish I would of ordered a size 8 and they would be perfect I didn’t realize until I wore them for like 8 hours.
The Shape-Ups are a great shoe! They really do trim your legs, thighs, and butt. I feel the difference when I walk in them. They are easy to walk in, I was walking in them full time in just a few days with zero soreness. They give you a nice burn like you are working out, but you aren’t working hard. I wear mine to work all day 4-5 days a week. I heard people say that they ran 1/2 size too small and to order 1/2 size larger than you normally wear. I wear a 10 and the shoe does not come in a 10.5. I ordered the 10 and they fit fine. It is a little snug at the toe, but not uncomfortable.
These are the only shoes I am able to wear without any knee or back pain. I wear my ShapeUps to work, to work out in at Curves, and any time I need to be wearing shoes. If I do not wear them, I am in pain for about 1-2 days.
I have not really had a good chance to try out my Skecher ShapeUps. I live in a rural area of central Vermont and it is not easy to walk outside at this time of year. I have worn them a little inside and they feel quite comfortabe and it has not taken me much time to get use to them.
These shoes feel fantastic, fitting perfectly. When you walk in them, it really does feel like you’re walking through sand, which gives you a great workout. I use these while walking briskly, both with and without my daughter in her stroller. A great product to supplement any workout regimen.
i have been wearing these Skechers for a little over a week. I have to say I love them. They are extremely comfortable. I am on my feet for 4 hours at a dr.s office. My only complaint is my lower back is killing me. I am not sure if it is a “good: thing or a “bad” thing. I already feel a difference in my butt and thighs.
I wear these to work where I am on my feet almost constantly, walking on hard concrete floors, pushing heavy equipment or patients in wheelchairs. A comfortable shoe with good arch support is ESSENTIAL! Because of bursitis in my right foot, I have to wear thick socks, which may make the shoe fit tighter than it was designed to, plus I have a wide foot to start with. It would be helpful if these came in a D width.
I love my Skechers! Due to schedules and kids, I never work out. I feel like I am doing “something” when I wear my Shape-Ups!! I think they are comfortable and cute; the platform also has been great as I am a petite person!! I totally recommend them and I am purchasing a pair for a friend as a gift.
I love the cushioning and rockers. I would like to wear them most of the day since am active and on my feet. The toe box and width are a bit too narrow and I have a narrow foot so this could be a problem for some people. I tried on a half size larger and they were too big. Am hoping these shoes will be supportive for several months, but I’ve only had them 3 weeks and don’t know how they will be. If the arches and support don’t last, then that will be a serious drawback. For the moment, they are quite wonderful except for the width and toebox.
I am now used to the Shape Ups. I should have read the info about breaking them in though. I wore them for an entire shift (12 hours) and it was painful. Now that I have broken them in properly, I am happy with them. I would get a half size bigger next time. I have to wear thin socks or they are too tight.
I just had back surgery a few months ago and needed a comfortable pair of shoes that would give me a little work out while wearing them to work. These are great and force me to maintain good posture which is a must after back surgery. I even work out and do cardio with them on and they are very comfortable and make you feel as though you are burning more calories. So far, they are worth the money.
I love that Skechers has made an affordable Shape Up sneaker that really works! They are supportive, comfortable, & stylish! I love wearing them, walking, to the gym, grocery, etc. When I take them off my legs feel like I just worked out with weights at the gym! I am 50 and I love to work out. My posture is so much better when I have my Shape Ups on. My legs are firm & toned. Great price for a great product.
I wanted these shoes to work in and I figured the benefit could be I could be working out my muscles while I work. These shoes are super comfortable to walk in, but having to stand for long periods on them wasn’t as comfortable. With ths design of them when you stand all your weight is on your heel. But for the most part they are good shoes and I would recommend them.
I love how I feel when I am walking – like I’m walking on air! I wore them the second day I had them to the fair – walked all day and felt great – not tired. I am 75 years old and love love love them!
I was in shoe store last night whre I purchase most of my shoes and recommended that they carry them. They said they would look into it. (They carry FitFlops but they are too wide for me and they don’t make them in Narrow).
I wear my Skechers twice a day while walking my beagle. He is full of energy, and with regular tennis shoes, my lower back would be killing me when we got back home. With my Skechers, my back pain is not there anymore, in fact, we can now go further distances and still be comfortable.
