Featured Review: (by NeilJL), How do I use this product? They’re pretty much the only pair of shoes I wear. My relationship with this boot started during the fall of 2005 as a sophomore in high school. Since then I have been wearing these boots day in day out. Literally. I have walked and hiked in inches snow and ice in the Pacific Northwest, in the streets of New York City, mud and slippery riverbanks on the East and West Coast, the Sonora Desert in Arizona, jungles in the Philippines and kayaking and hiking in Mexico and through all of that, this pair of boots have kept it’s shape and its comfort. They have good enough traction and insulation to keep your balance and to either keep your feet warm in the cold or cool in the desert heat. Through all of that, I have never slipped or fallen while wearing these boots.

I have traveled 26,000 miles around the world since 2009 and I always have these boots with me wherever I go. They’re my airplane boots. They lace up and lace down easily enough for airport security, and they’re comfortable enough on those long 16 hour flights across the Pacific. I don’t go anywhere without these boots. Sure, there may be a few stains on them, and the suede has lost some of its luster and faded at some places but with the rigorous use I have put them through, that is to be expected. The soles have stayed attached to the top cover of the suede itself through the years and they’re just as comfortable as the day I got them, which says a lot for quality and workmanship. I even still have the original pair of laces that came with the boot and they are still going strong. I applaud the company for the design of this boot and I would definitely buy more of these boots in the future. For now though, I’m going to see how much longer the ones I have can last, push them to their limit you know? I have them on as I type this actually. 6 years and still going strong. My experience has cemented my faith in this company for its ability to make quality, lasting footwear that can stand the test of time and nature.

Featured Review: (by Will), Boot felt Great! May be my foot, but had 2 pair and the soul started to come unglued on both pair. Timberland is great! They stand behind their product. No problems getting boots replaced. Had problems with this boot, but would not wear anyother Brand work-boot. Wearing my replacements boots now. Timberland fan for life. Good to know if you invest the money on a product that a company will stand behind what they sell.

Featured Review: (by BRI), The leather lip at the top should extend nearly all the way around the top instead of just a inch or so on the back of the boot. The top of the boot with no padding chaffed my ankle a GREAT deal even while wearing a normal sock and a Boot sock to keep the chaffing down. Otherwise it was the same as the 6″ endurance steel toe that I had, and recently went back to. Only gripe with the boot, otherwise VERY comfortable but not quite as light as it may look oddly enough.

Featured Review: (by Railman), Best boots i’ve ever owned. I work in the rail industry and often do hot work and these boots can take abuse. Also nice bc they are reasonably water resistant if working in the weather. My first pair lasted me over 2 yrs. while other similarly priced work boots i’ve owned were trash in 6 mos. They are a bit heavy but if u require a boot of this nature then the weight shouldn’t b a problem. On my 2nd pair and they’re still going strong.
