Featured Review: (by Outdoor Worker), I love these boots and intend to buy more! The size runs true, unlike some of the other styles of Timberland boots. I got the color “medium brown full grain” #25667,a smooth natural brown leather that has no lining, which lets my feet breathe in our hot summers and forms to my foot perfectly. These are not waterproof, so I intend to use a waterproofing product. Years ago Timberland made the Judy boot that fit my narrow fit well, but that was discontinued. Now even though the narrowest width I could order was a medium, this one hugs my foot, plus has a removable insole so my orthotics can be inserted. Almost too classy looking to use as a hiking boot, but I do a lot of walking and these non-slip soles and low heels are perfect. The flat laces stay tied, sure wish I could order more of those laces from Timberland! I will be buying more of these for work and recreation!
Featured Review: (by Kat), I bought this pair of boots for everyday use. I wear a size 8 and purchased an 8 which seems to fit pretty well, except in the left toe the cardboard from above was cut to short and so it cuts into my toe. When I tried to order a different pair, my size was already sold out. In addition the shoe is a bit narrow and stiff, but I hope that he stretch out and mold to my foot over time. Overall, good looking shoe, just a tad uncomfortable at first..

Featured Review: (by RBNYC), Chose these as an alternative to the usual Desert Boot for the Summer. In theory, Suede sounded to me counter-intuitive for hot Gotham Summer days. And so these Earthkeeper Desert Boots (I chose the Walnut Brown, of course) seemed Perfect. However, having since received and worn these, I must admit: The appeal of the Desert Boot- I now realize- is very much linked to the rugged yet relaxed properties of Suede, and thus these stiffer, waxed canvas alternatives don’t quite exude that same casual look. They’re comfortable, and will probably be durable. That’s why I still give them a 4. It’s not a quality thing. It’s an aesthetic and design thing. Perhaps they shouldn’t call these Desert Boots but instead a leisure boot based on -or Inspired by- a Desert Boot. Consequently, I’ll be plunking down more money for actual Desert boots. These’ll be re-assigned to Winter wear.
Featured Review: (by Joe), I’m a New England based corporate pilot. I needed a boot that looks good, and can keep my feet warm and protected. With a little polish, these things shine well. The soles have also stood up to the chemical abuse I’ve put them through. (think spilled jet fuel, de iceing fluid, and hydraulic fluid) I will definitely buy another pair when these wear out. Just make sure to rub the leather on the sole with mink oil, otherwise they will suck up water, or whatever you step in.
Featured Review: (by Mike), Shopped Timberland all my life. Three casual fashion boots in last five years. First pair was true to size, and appeared so. Second and third pairs were visually longer than I thought normal (size 10 if it matters) and felt like clown shoes initially. After a couple days, they fit perfectly. To be clear: yes, I think something changed in recent boot design. So at first try-on I too thought I’d need a half size smaller. But I wore them around the house, and was confident enough to wear outside. Width perfect. And — this is key — the length turned out to be perfect. It takes a bit for the boot to match your foot and vice versa. I can’t speak for others’ experiences, but in my own I am glad I did not take the advice of buying a half size down.
Featured Review: (by Horse Girl), I love these boots! They definitely run small. I wear a 7 in Frye’s buckle harness boots, and after reading reviews for these on the web, I ordered them in an 8 and they fit perfectly! I had to punch holes in the buckles at the calf as they were too loose, but that worked out perfectly, and now they are fab! I was hoping they would have the same cushioned sole that my boyfriend’s Timberlands have, but these definitely do not. And not much arch support, but not terrible either. They are overall very comfortable… just could be better in the soles. I do love that I can cinch them up with the laces which keeps them from sloshing around on my ankles like some boots do. My only true gripe is the price. I think for what you get these boots are about $50 over-priced. But I just had to have them, so I paid the price. And I’m glad I did – I wear them every day! Another note is that slight differences or “defects” (i.e. missing grommets) are made in these boots ON PURPOSE to give them an “old” or “repaired” look – which I love about them.
