Featured Review: (by P on a Trek), I bought these boots last minute for a 28 mile hike up Machu Picchu. The boots not only need no break in time, but by the end of the trek, I was the only person sans joint pain and blisters. On the final day, we had 6 hours of heavy rain, yet my feet remained dry. I ended up wearing them for three weeks all over Peru. Fantastic purchase and well worth the price.

Featured Review: (by jimmyo), I’ve had my euros for four days. I was concerned that the boot felt a tad long for my natural 10.5 size feet, but that worry went away after a little research. The aim is to have at least a finger’s width of extra toe room for practical reasons… so, the fit, while just that much longer, is really ideal. The boot is great. Well constructed (from what I can tell) and handsome. Needed only about an hour to break in. I thought I’d be using these for work and rough stuff, but they’re a little too nice for that right now. I don’t want to mess them up! I think these boots are made for walking, though, and light hiking. Very comfortable, but more serious hiking would require a firmer ankle grip. I have no doubt they’ll serve well for daily use. Light and pliable, they work well with any casual outfit. I don’t know about their weather-proof characteristics, but I wouldn’t venture into water deliberately. It seems they’ll take about one to two inches of brief immersion in standing water and will do fine in rain, snow and mud. I think for the money, they’re a great investment.

Featured Review: (by NeilJL), How do I use this product? They’re pretty much the only pair of shoes I wear. My relationship with this boot started during the fall of 2005 as a sophomore in high school. Since then I have been wearing these boots day in day out. Literally. I have walked and hiked in inches snow and ice in the Pacific Northwest, in the streets of New York City, mud and slippery riverbanks on the East and West Coast, the Sonora Desert in Arizona, jungles in the Philippines and kayaking and hiking in Mexico and through all of that, this pair of boots have kept it’s shape and its comfort. They have good enough traction and insulation to keep your balance and to either keep your feet warm in the cold or cool in the desert heat. Through all of that, I have never slipped or fallen while wearing these boots.

I have traveled 26,000 miles around the world since 2009 and I always have these boots with me wherever I go. They’re my airplane boots. They lace up and lace down easily enough for airport security, and they’re comfortable enough on those long 16 hour flights across the Pacific. I don’t go anywhere without these boots. Sure, there may be a few stains on them, and the suede has lost some of its luster and faded at some places but with the rigorous use I have put them through, that is to be expected. The soles have stayed attached to the top cover of the suede itself through the years and they’re just as comfortable as the day I got them, which says a lot for quality and workmanship. I even still have the original pair of laces that came with the boot and they are still going strong. I applaud the company for the design of this boot and I would definitely buy more of these boots in the future. For now though, I’m going to see how much longer the ones I have can last, push them to their limit you know? I have them on as I type this actually. 6 years and still going strong. My experience has cemented my faith in this company for its ability to make quality, lasting footwear that can stand the test of time and nature.

Featured Review: (by Anonymous), These boots have all the makings of a perfect workboot, but somehow they cause near unbearable pain in my feet, even while using my custom Podiatrist-made inserts. I’ve tried these, regretably too long, I may be just beyond the warranty-return cutoff, but I’ll call and beg anyway to hopefully switch to something else. The foot pain started in the first week, and I kept thinking that my feet would adapt, but no… just pain. My shoe size is 13 medium, and these feel like a 13 wide, which may be the cause of most of this trouble. Looking at them, they are perfect, with lots of cool technology built in. But: The really cool looking, smooth pulling, lace eyelets cause heavy pressure on the tops of my foot, so that they feel bruised, even many hours after I remove the boots. The nice looking quick release eyelets at the top don’t work. They don’t allow the shoestring to exit, and they just bind and stop the shoestring from sliding through while trying to doff. They feel a bit heavy, but the weight is due to the medium-dense soles. The previous Timberland Pro’s I tried had nice soft soles, but they proved too-soft, broke down badly in 3 months, and are now discontinued. Even looking at these on my feet at this moment, I don’t understand why they are not a near perfect boot, but… Pain is very persuasive… I just ordered some “Bates® 5″ Ultra Lites™ Composite Toes”, because I’m in desperate need of less foot pain.

Featured Review: (by Chris – A&P Mechanic), I feel that these boots are very durable and look great. I like them better than the Georgia and Justin Boots I had tried on because these fit my feet better and so they were more comfortable. However, they are heavy and do not support my feet as well as they could. Being as heavy as they are though may be in part to the materials that make them so durable. The soles have very minimal wear after having used the boots for 2 years. Although they help get the job done, I do hope to find something that supports my feet better but if those new boots don’t last, (I am getting Red Wings without steal toe because it makes my feet cold when its cold outside) I will continue using this old pair of boots. I think they are a great value for the price.

Featured Review: (by Lael Grant), Yes I already posted a comment concerning this boot but I must say more. I just finished the 93 mile Wonderland Trail that encircles Mt. Rainier in 8 days wearing the Summit Country boot. We had 3 days of sun and the remainder was in the rain. My sleep system is unorthodoxed and ultralight: My boots were part of this system and were the only weather protection and insulation while sleeping. The boot performed above my expectations… yet again. Thanks Keen!

Featured Review: (by Carpenter)I bought these boots three months ago for work only. I’m on my feet up to 16 hours during work. I work mainly inside as a carpenter and stagehand. Although they are comfortable, they do not hold up. The leather is cracked, the steel toe is wearing through the leather, and the rubber sole is cracked and shows signs of wear I normally see after a year. Never have a owned such a poor quality boot at this price. I do not recommend this boot to anyone for anything. Timberland boots sure have went downhill, do yourself a favor and pass these up and buy Chippewa, Oakleys or Wolverine boots.
