Featured Review: I bought my first pair of Daniel Green Meg slippers — my golden slippers! — and I wore them until there were falling apart. Finding shoes, and slippers more so, in narrow widths isn’t easy and, having moved away from the shoe store where I bought them, I was concerned I might never find another pair as good as these. But, to my delight, I found them on line and reasonably priced. The shipping was free and the service quick. I am so pleased to once again own these beautiful and comfortable golden slippers. I wear them around the house; sometimes outside: a quick trip to the store, for example. I always pack them when I go traveling. They make my feet happy.

I have been buying these particular slippers for more then 30 years. They are the most comfortable and safest slippers I have ever worn. They are extremely soft and fit like an old shoe. Your foot does not slip off the side nor slide out of the slipper. Over the years I have bought them in black, blue and beige. For the Winter Holidays {Christmas-New Year’s}I have gold ones which I wear for home entertainment. I highly recommend these slippers and they make great gifts, especially for the female senior citizens in your life. I bought them for both my sisters (ages 72 & 76 and they also love them.
I bought what I thought was a quality pair of slippers, the Daniel Green Meg. I have painful feet, and wanted these for comfort and lasting ability. They are beautiful to look and comfortable…so why am I disappointed? Within the first week, the nylon tricot lining in the foot bed of one of them came unglued, and started to wad up under my foot. I tried re-gluing it which lasted only another week. Then, the same thing happened to the other slipper. They are most uncomfortable now with the wadded lining rubbing against the soles of my feet.
