This was not my first pair of jungle mocs. In fact, it is my third. They are the only shoes I wear to work (I am a school teacher). My first black pair was suede. I wore out the soles quickly (from wearing them so much). I have a brown pair that is the nubuck. Just as comfortable, and the tops look better for longer than the suede. The sole also lasts longer for some reason. Different design that seems to last longer. So this time I got the black in nubuck. I have not been disappointed.

My wife and I own about 6 pairs of Merrells between us, and we find them extremely comfortable compared to most other shoes and sandals. The Jungle Moc Nubuck feels a little tight at first, but conforms to your foot over time, and the fit is never uncomfortable, even after a 10 hour workday. The foot bed and arch support are superb, “sticky” sole is excellent on most surfaces, and these shoes last a very very long time. You get good value for the money, and this model is classy enough to wear to most office jobs.

This is my fifth pair of Merrell shoes, and they are seriously comfortable. Well-crafted footbed offers adequate support, uppers are glove-like, and soles have excellent grip. I do use a small arch support insert (by Pro Foot) for added comfort. I can wear these for 10-12 hours and my feet still feel very comfortable. Made in China, like most apparel products these days, but construction and quality control standards are higher than cheap dept store versions. My oldest pair are Jungle Mocs I got in 2000, and wore almost constantly for 3 years. Although worn, they are still in good enough shape to kick around in on the weekends. Merrell makes good products that are worth the extra money.

I bought this shoe because it looked comfortable and just like my favorite pair of slippers. I bought a tan pair and they are the most comfortable shoes, next to tennis shoes, that I have worn in years. I wear them in the office and when I am doing group therapy. I just bought a pair in black so that I can wear them with grey slacks. My next pair will be brown so that I can interchange them At this point, I don’t think I will be wearing other shoes unless in a formal situation. My patients have asked where I got them and I have given them your web address. It is a great shoe and I have no dislikes.

First of all, I need to say that Merrell is my favorite brand of shoe. I have had 2 ankle surgeries and have no arches – Merrell is the only brand that gives me the support and comfort that I look for in a shoe. I work in a hospital and these are my work shoes – they are comfortable enough for a 12 hr day, most liquids run right off of the Nubuck and they actually look decent as well.

I have been wearing this brand and style shoe for 6 years. I find them very comfortable and keep buying them. As they start to wear out, I order another pair and slowly break them in over a couple of months…then the new ones become the ‘day to day’ shoes and the old ones become the out in the yard pair. If I could change perfection it would be to have a wider version. But since they seem to stretch, I really can’t complain too much.

I have always worn shoes that are similar to this type. My wife has bought them in the past from Land’s end and other well known stores, but she knew a butcher who owned a meat market that absolutely swore by Merrell Jungle Mocs, so even though they were a little more than the other brands, she sent these to me on the boat where I work as a Chef in the kitchen. These are absolutely the best shoes I have owned yet! Even though they are light, they feel like they give a boot-like support. There are no exposed stitches (so food can’t get into any crevices and rot – in my experience, that will eventually force shoes to fall apart). I have walked through grease and water, and the shoes haven’t slipped once. I’ve spilled water and food, and nothing has leaked through, so I’m convinced they are pretty waterproof. Plus, since they are so comfortable and I wear them all the time, we’re getting a couple of extra pairs.

Shipment was very prompt and on time. I bought two pairs of shoes from shebuy.com a couple of weeks ago. They sent me the wrong style/design on one of the shoes. I returned the one pair of shoe for an exchange within 1-2 days of receipt. I thought this was going to be an easy request as they proclaim on their website. Well, ladies and gentlemen, it is not so. Don’t be fooled. I have not received the style of shoe that I ordered and they kept my money as well. I have called them twice now. I am told the shoe is under “review”. Their customer service is terible!!!

Read a lot of reviews about this shoe, and spoke to many about Merrell. It’s all true! Comfort straight out of the box and requires little break in time. They do feel slightly wider than marked but this was a good thing for me; I’ve low arches. Knew this ahead of time and ordered normal width, which fit just fine. Glad now I didn’t go with A “W” when ordering. I bought these shoes for comfort when traveling in NYC(hours on pavement walking, test the comfort of any shoe), and love them already. Ordering from shoebuy was A breeze and I will recommend to all and purchace hear again.

If you have high arches these are some of the best shoes I have ever worn. I spend my day teaching and am on my feet all day. I can’t were flat people shoes, my feet hurt and get fatigued. Not with merrel moc’s, they hold up and feel comfortable all day. I seem to wear the bottoms out in about a year. Can not wear any other shoe that I have found on the market place.

This is my second pair of Merrell Jungle Moc Nubucks. I am going to purchase a third color shortly. The Nubuck in size 10 has a little more room in the length than the regular Jungle Mocs. The regular Jungle Moc in size 10 pinched my toe ever so slightly, enough to be irritating. These are the most comfortable casual shoes I’ve ever worn including and type of tennis shoes. Beware of copy cats. I’ve tried the cheaper copies and they aren’t comfortable and don’t last.

I had purchased a black leatherette version of this show a few years back and really liked the way it looked and fit. This time that particular color wasn’t available, so I went with the “stone”. It’s sort of a pale beige to my eyes. My feet are wide and I usually am happiest with an 11 wide, but even these shoes don’t come in that size, the 11 regular is working out well. The first day or two, I wasn’t sure, as it felt a little tight and stiff initially. But the first day I wore it to work, I realized at the end of the day I’d forgotten I was wearing it (a good thing, right?) and every time I looked at it, I thought it looked really good. Three weeks later, I still like it a lot.
