Featured Review: (by Miss Manager), I am a Manager for a hospitality company and many of my employees have complained about this particular shoe. My employees are required to wear a 2inch heel, black, slip resistant shoe and this meets that criteria; however, it has rubbed blisters on the sides of the pinky toe area. Even with dress socks, this shoe rubs. If it were available in a wide shoe I think it would help solve this problem. Several of them have had the shoe stretched, but that has not helped. I recommend the designers wear this shoe for 8 hours on your feet and see how it fits you. I also recommend others to try this shoe on and walk around the store for a little while before you purchase. You may have to get a 1/2 size or full size bigger if you plan to be on your feet for an extended period of time.
This is one strange pair of shoes! They fit in the length and the width, yet the top of the shoe dug into my feet! I wore them around the house for awhile, but I finally couldn’t take the pain anymore and took them off. I think these are defective. How can a pair of shoes fit in the width and length, yet dig into my feet like that? I hated sending them back because they were so cute! Now I’m back in the search for a comfy pair of stylish black shoes. 🙁
Personally, I love these shoes. I’m a manager in a restaurant, so I’m almost constantly on my feet for 8 hours plus, and these shoes have served me well. I’m a size 9, but in many brands of shoes I need a 9 1/2. These fit true to size (I ordered a 9). I’ve recommended them to my staff. My only recommendation to Timberland is that they make a cute flat shoe as well!
