This is a very comfortable shoe for most of the people. It has soft nappa leather which feels really good and good heel cushioning has been offered. I can keep the pair of this shoe , BUT, I have neuropathy in my feet which is a nerve pain and I can only wear shoes with great padding in the heel. The padding of this shoe is relatively low at the ball of the foot where I feel more pain. The cantilever action of the higher heel puts a great pressure on the balls of my feet, so unfortunately they cannot be worn in a complete comfort zone. They are comfortable and very stylish, if you get your right size, but they are not made for my problematic feet. If your feet are anything like mine then you should avoid ordering these. I can tell you an alternate that is Mephisto Fennie which is really great for such feet. Just order that in ½ size smaller and you will love them. It is also a nice looking and a comfortable shoe.
