Since I first put this shoe on, I have not wanted to take them off. Ordinarily, I would not have bothered to write these review, but the shoe is that damn good. It is actually 4:27 AM and I am at my office having worked all day from 10:30 AM. I often work stupid hours, but these shoes definitely show that I have moments of brilliance. I have them on now. Ordinarily when I work stupid hours like this, I take off my shoes at the office and go in socks to be more comfortable. Not the case with these shoes. As a matter of fact, one of my colleagues noticed that I don’t take these shoes off when I work stupid hours.

I have worn these walking seven hours a day, five days a week, and got a full year out of them. The outer part is still in amazing shape, with little polishing, but I have to replace as I know the inner is worn. No break-in ever with Rockport. I highly recommend. I have a narrow heal so the shoe might run narrow.

  3. TJ says:

Unlike previous Rockport shoes I have owned, these are disappointing. Looks are too utilitarian, and not sharp enough for my business casual environment. After wearing these shoes for two weeks, they still cause pain in the heel and top of foot. Just had to order a different pair of shoes.

  4. Mark says:

Nice style but shoe creases into the toes when walking. Some type of defect in finish of shoe, looks like an orange peel on some parts of shoe. I wear a EE to EEE width. The XW was not quite wide enough.

  5. Jim says:

This shoe is a touch tighter than I expected. I have to be sure to wear thin socks which makes a difference. The shoe strings are the kind that need to be double knotted. Otherwise it is comfortable for around the office.
