Well, my other pair, The work shoes, I had for 5 years and I thought it was time for an update even though they are still in great shape. So, I had tried these shoes on at store and thought they were very comfortable. I was able to find them at a very great price on the Skechers website. My feet are very sensitive so I’m very limited to what I can get. I bought them for work and I’m a waitress so I’m on my feet more than 8 hours a day. I was worried I would get blisters and my feet would be killing by the time I got home, even though they felt good when I tried them on. But they are amazingly sooo comfy!! No blisters, no sore back or sore and tired feet. I am very very happy with them!!! I wear them everywhere.
I wear these shoes everywhere and I have white ones as well as two-tone tan ones. I think that some are a regular width and some are wider. The style number is 1718, but a couple of times when I’ve asked for that number I get 1728 instead. I’m not sure but it seems like those are wider.
Actually I have been liking the wider ones in winter with thicker socks.
I like these shoes so much that I bought a pair for my aunt who is 76 years old. She loves them too !
These are the best shoes for walking! I have used these shoes on two trips to Europe, walking all over the coble stones and they are the BEST! I use them every day to walk up and down hills at home. No other shoe compares to these and I love that the top is real leather, not plastic! They look attractive-like hiking boots, and with my arthritic feet I have NO problems with these. I have tried other shoes and nothing compares. I LOVE the wide base-it makes the shoe so stable. So for comfort, style and durability-you can’t go wrong.
