Featured Review: (by TR), Just returned from 10 days sailing in the BVI’s with these shoes on their first try. Sticks like glue to the deck in +18 kts and large heel angles. Drains well so times ashore following a dingy beaching aren’t in soggy shoes. Also REALLY comfortable around town. Only drawback would be not so good in wet & cold as the drain slots in the soles can also let rain in from the bottom up.
I bought these for work at a zoo, and so far they have proven to be very efficient. Great overall quality, the blister con that I included is most likely my fault for wearing improper socks. That being said, keep in mind that you may want to order a half size up so that you can wear thicker socks to cushion against blisters (have them on my heels/lower achilles after 2 days of work). I’ve been working in wet conditions (hosing areas, etc) and my feet stay totally dry and I can clean mud off easily. Also, for work boots I think they are very cute–I was surprised that they looked as good as they did in person.
