The upper is available in soft nubuck and leather which is pebble grained. The upper is very easy to clean and maintain. These sandals have two straps and buckle closure at the top which allows secure and precise fitting every time. The lining is made from the Dri-Lex® which is very soft and it draws away the moisture from the foot to keep it dry and healthy. The footbed is self-molding and it is wrapped with the leather which is anatomically treated to keep the feet odorless and moisture less. The outsole is made from the polyurethane which is lightweight and very durable. This outsole absorbs shocks and provides traction for secure and comfortable walking. The taped and side stitch construction of this shoe makes it durable and it makes it absorb shocks. Its heel is 1 ½ inches high. This shoe is comfortable for when you walk a lot (like shopping all day).They are marked “Extra-Wide”, but can be tightened with the buckles. I always wear a 7.5 in open-toed shoes (and a size 8 in closed-toe shoes).I ordered the Euro 38 (U.S. 7.5-8). They fit, but my toes are very close to the front edge. Maybe the next size up would have fit better, but I didn’t want to have to wait a week for a new pair to arrive. These are not very cute shoes, definitely not dressy. (I ordered the Black.) They kind of look like a less bulky Birkenstock sandal. However, they are great for hot weather and look fine with capris, jeans, and other casual outfits. I would recommend them if you are looking for a comfort sandal. Just don’t expect them to look dressy. I would give 5 stars for comfort, 3 stars for looks. Also on the plus side, they make my feet look smaller:)
This shoe represents great quality throughout. It is well made and extremely comfortable, with a soft insole and smooth uppers – no rough patches or seams that can pinch or hurt. I usually preferred to go barefoot, but now I’d rather put these shoes on! They are sporty but pretty enough to wear with a dress or skirt. The black suede ones are very attractive. Lots of ways to adjust them for a perfect fit. The cushioned footbed here adjusted gradually to your foot like a custom made shoe. Can’t say enough about how great they are!
