The sock lining is made from the Dri-Lex® which is supple and soft. This lining keeps your feet free from moisture by wicking away the moisture from it. The insole is made from the memory foam which provides extraordinary comfort with easy step. The footbed is wrapped with the anatomical leather which draws away the moisture from the foot to keep it dry and healthy. The outsole is made from the polyurethane which is very lightweight and provides shock absorption for stable and comfortable ride. This shoe has the taped and side stitch construction which makes it absorb shocks and enable enhanced comfort. Its heel is 1 ½ inches high. I had worn out my first pair of Fly Flot Dales. I replaced my old tan ones, and then decided to try the navy, which is not as dark as the website photo, I would call it a dark denim. The tan is a pretty soft medium brown that seems to go with almost everything.I like these sandals to wear with skirts to work. The heel height is just enough to look a bit dressy. I agree with other reviewers about the back strap, the 10-10.5 is a good fit for my size 10 feet, but the strap is quite long (better than too short). I have thin (OK, bony) feet, so the three adjustable front straps are awesome because I can always get a good fit. And I like the subtle antiqued brass buckles. They look as good as new after years of wear. These are very well made, durable, comfortable sandals.
I bought this shoe because it fits the business casual guidelines for work, while at the same time providing comfortable support. They provide good shock absorption for those with joint problems and feel like they will continue to do so for a good while, (unlike other shoes with that temporary “spongy” feel that don’t feel as supportive of the foot.) These feel very supportive and comfortable for a very reasonable price. I liked them so much, I bought them in a second color. One thing to keep in mind is that the straps do stretch the more you wear them, so keep that in mind when choosing sizes.
I bought a pair of Fly Flots 4 years ago, and wore them all summer long those four years. They never tore or ravelled, remaining intact (still are). I did have to add holes in the back strap because the leather stretched, but I expected that. They are the most comfortable shoe I ever had, and searched for years to replace them. I was THRILLED when I found them on Shoebuy, since so often a style is discontinued after a few years. I love the new pair I received, and plan on purchasing another in a different color.
I’m A big fan of Flyflot sandles. They have more support in the arch making them much more comfortable. The three straps help to customize the sandle to my foot for A better fit and I like the height of the heel. I would like them to take on the challenge of using A little more stylishness while keeping the same comfort characteristics. My daughter tried the Dana on A few years ago and she now buys them too.

I like the sandals a lot. They are lightweight and easy to wear. They look nice. They however, do not seem to be quite as well constructed as the Propet or Naturalizer sandals I have ordered. The price is very reasonable for the shoe though. They are extremely comfortable sandals with a very nice wedge heel and the right height. I love ordering from shoebuy. It’s so easy and it’s great to have return postage pd if the shoe doesn’t fit!
I am a plus-size gal who has trouble with her feet, and need a sandal that is good looking and completely comfortable. I have a high arch and instep, and most sandals do not give really good support. The Fly Flot Dale molds to the foot, and the adjustable straps make it easy to custom fit the sandal. This is for sure the most comfortable shoe in my closet, and I would buy more Fly FLots!The price is very reasonable, and shoebuy.com is the best fottware company that I have ever dealt with online: great styles, prices, and customer service!
The first time I put this shoe on it was like walking on air. The fit is perfect and the shoe is so light and comfortable it’s hard to describe. This is my second pair of Fly Flot and I my only complaint is that I wish they were a little more stylist. These are the first pair of sandals that I can wear without orthodics and it feels just wonderful.
The footbed on these shoes is great! They’re very comfortable. However, the back ankle strap is not comfortable. It appears to sit lower on the ankle and feels like it’s falling down even when tightened. It’s in the design. I agree with some other customers that the length of the various straps is inconsistent. the toe straps are nearly too short and the ankle strap is way too long. The brown nubuck is a terrific shade of warm brown.
I bought these sandals hoping they were better than the ones I have been buying for many years. They are better, they have an adjustable heel strap and they are cushioned a lot more than any I have ever had. I will be buying another pair soon because I like them so much and just in case they stop making them, make that 2 more pairs I will be buying.
When I’m standing still in this shoe, I am in heaven. The sole is the most comfortable I have ever worn, and I can only wear SAS and Clark’s. However, the shoe and straps are unlined, and not quite in the right places to be comfortable. They are very, very stiff and I do hope they will soften. I have them in the loosest holes so they don’t hurt my heel and instep. I kept these shoes because the sole is really heavenly and resilient with each step. Hopefully the straps will soften up eventually. The sole needs no break-in, but the straps need work.This shoe at Shoebuy was an excellent buy.
