I liked this shoe because it is a combination of beautiful leather  and rich colors. Yes! This shoe is by Frye which is very reliable in manufacturing ultra comfy shoes, but in this shoe I think the heel is too high to be truly comfortable. The structure of toe is nice and round to avoid any squeeze factor and it never hurts my toes, but the heel is a little uncomfortable. The size also runs true to size, still I would recommend you to order your regular size and then you can add footpad inside for extra comfort on the heel side. Other than that I think it’s a wonderful winter shoe. I have received a lot of complements on these every time I wear it. You can use it for both dressy and causal. You will look stunning in this shoe no matter what ever you are wearing.
Best oxfords ever!! 😆 The leather is beautiful, soft but strong, the frame comfortable and sturdy, and the fit true to size 🙂
I ordered 8.5 (Slate) over my usual US8(strictly 7.5W) due to availability. They are so comfortable out of the box, and the orthotics (footlogics catwalk) provide extra arch and posture support. They would have fit in an 8, though with thick/layered socks it’s not noticeable. They are still remarkably comfy. Without orthotics I slip down the heel (hill) a bit :ermm: With orthotics + no socks, laced up they are snug around the arch, though a bit gappy when standing (~3mm). This is halfsize up, remember!
They *are* high, but so comfortable in structure, with a chunky heel and good grip underneath, that all I notice is needing to drop my toe a little more than in lower heels. Orthotics aren’t even that necessary! Though without them I probs wouldn’t last in the height for a full workday. I was worried about that, but on they are perfect  So long as you are prepared to adjust your walking/balance a little to overcome the height.
The colours are rich (though scuffed from rough shipping – nothing leather creme couldn’t fix), the laced and layered style so organically beautiful for any place/occasion. Steampunk, classy, layered casual, anything goes. So lovely ^^ I just need to practice my elegant walking now  Do order true to size, you won’t be disappointed ^^
