These boots are really awesome :wub: . I bought these Frye Engineer boots and just LOVED THEM. I became a huge fan of Frye from that time onward. I bought these boots a few days back and they just what I always desired to have. These are certainly less extreme in style and presentation than my Engineers, but I like the touches which has been given to this boot and the contrasting stitching too which gives it a different touch. They have different textured leather which is great. I have dark brown pebble version of these. I was a bit worried before having these that the texture may look like an alligator skin , But thank God the effect is more like distressed leather which looks awesome and that is mainly on the toes where your feet does the most bending. These boots are extremely comfortable and the leather is noticeably softer than the Engineer boots and also extremely comfortable. They needed a few hours of broken in period specially to the point where they meet the ankle area, but within one or tow hours it stretched and loosen up comfortably. I like the look of these boots, but if Frye had made the heel a bit more taller than it would have been look too hot. The lacing provides me a secure fit. I think if the lacing were forward a bit more then it would have been more helpful. The leather is soft but sturdy. There comfort and classy looks made these boots even more attractive. :angel:
