Not the quality and look I was expecting!! I have tow pairs of Mephisto and they both rock. I wanted to buy another sandal for this summer and Mephisto was the first brand which came in my mind. I took so many hours to find these. They wear looking very nice in the picture and I obviously had high expectations as far as the functionality is concerned, but they have disappointed me. They don’t look as cute and as dressier as they look in the picture. The quality is also not like other Mephisto shoes I have. They simply look cheap and low quality. I have spent a lot on these and with such a price they should have made them with high quality material. I am really surprised to see that how chewed up the ankle strap looked right out of the box. Not acceptable when paying a premium price. I had to return them, so these so called beauties are going back. Disappointment!!!
You have to be sure while ordering these different than the size reference. The listing of this shoe starts from 39-9, but it was 40=9. I have exchanged these for a larger size and then it had a good fit. They are very comfy and cushy as well. They are cute looking therefore I have received many complements on them. You should order one size up to get the perfect fit. I think Mephisto has done a mistake in these otherwise I have never ever ordered one size up in this brand. I have always purchased them in my regular size and they fit well. You will love the ride in these. They can be worn casually and formally both depends how you use them. The outsole is very durable. It is available is so many pretty colors. I am thinking about buying this in another color too as a present for my sister. I am sure that she will also fell in love with these.
