I bought these shoes on the recommendation of a friend who uses them for CrossFit and she says that it’s a wonderful shoe to have. I exercise in the gym, but I wanted to continue the barefoot “feel” in public during normal activities without the creepiness of everyone staring at my feet all the time. These shoes were the perfect purchase I have ever done. They took a few days to get used to and needed a few days of break in time. At first , I thought they were too big for me, but they were not. I read many reviews about it before purchasing them. These shoes run true to size. It filled in all the space perfectly. I have received lots and lots on complements on these. They are very cute. I do a lot walking in them every day. I wear these to train station to bus stop to campus to bus stop and then again from bus stop to train and my feet feel perfectly all right. No rubbing, no chafing, no irritation, no nothing. You don’t need to overtighten these and they will feel perfect. Keep these verlcro comfortable. I have only one complaint with these shoes. The first time I washed these shoes because they got dirty. The gray from the toe fabric bled into the yellow. I have failed to wash these from the back. So now my fabulous yellow shoes have gray streaks which are running down the toe box and which is a bit annoyed. This is a little disappointing, but still I would like to wear these and would like to buy another pair of these. These shoes are perfect for all the people who want to have a barefoot shoe feeling without unwanted attention. It’s a great shoe overall.
These shoes are great to wear without socks. If you don’t like the barefoot feeling and ont like to get the inside of the shoe dirty, then put in a thin adhesive liner. You can always change the liner and it takes the place of having to wear socks in order to keep the soles clean and also dry. I have peripheral neuropathy in my toes which doesn’t have a balance problem too. With this shoe I can easily spread my toes to help my poor balance. I am in love the feeling of barefoot without actually going barefoot. They a bit expensive for my pocket, but I will use it and keep it with me as they are awesome. I have purchased 2 pairs and both of them are too good. I am in love with these Merrell shoes. They provide a great arch support too. They are very comfortable right out of the box. They work very well for me. They are very good in everything. Great shoe to have. BUY IT!!
