I bought these shoes because I was looking for a good all around cross-training workout shoe and finally decided to have these. I do a lot of walking because I am living in a city and walk more than a mile per day when I go out for my work. Then in the evening I work out at the gym too which also require a very comfortable shoe. I love this brand and I really like to wear Merrell shoes as they are very comfortable and fit well on my feet. About these shoes- first of all I would like to say that they are fairly comfortable. On my first day I went out in these and after a long walk they started hurting my feet because I think that they have a little heel padding, But I would say that under all circumstances they were fine. As far as the sizing is concerned, my feet are wide and I normally wear size 8 so I ordered size 8 in these, but they were a bit loose on my feet as my feet slid forward until my toes hit the front end and the front of the ankle opening was rubbing on my ankle bone. I replaced these with 7.5 which fit better. I think that this shoe is designed for a person with a longer feet therefore they are not fitting perfectly on my feet. Still I think that they are comfortable. They are pretty cute and summery. They are not perfect, but overall they are fairly comfy and stylish.
