For such a simple and comfortable looking shoe , this creates enough imbalance and ache due to bad structure to return them. I am so sad and I am in love with how classy these are. They lack the arch support. These shoes are surprisingly light and doesn’t look heavy or clunky, but the shape is not good and my feet look funny in these. they don’t offer any arch support or ankle support. I wore these shoes for the entire day and I was constantly repositioning my feet to get back on the shoe and they fit correctly. I don’t think that they worth the price. The anti-shock also works and the foot bed is wonderful too. the straps are also very soft so they never rub my feet in a bad way. The material is of good quality, but no matter what bells and whistles you add to an oddly designed shoe, there support will be great as well. Merrell should have added some arch support in these shoes. These were definitely not the good choice for me. The heel is good and little, but still I wobbled in these and though the straps are soft but they are not very supportive. These shoes also left a lot of foot uncovered which looks pathetic. These shoes fit a half size smaller as I ordered 7 and I usually wear 7 and a half. I will never recommend these shoes to any one. They have so many drawbacks and all my money has been wasted. This sandal is a super disappointment since it looks very comfy but they are not. I have been looking for a comfortable walking sandal for a trip therefore selected this one and they are not what I expected. It is a cute looking shoe, but not for my feet. Merrall has disappointed me this time.
I already own a pair of Merrell which is really great and very functional. This time I was looking for a black shoe and decided to buy Merrell again as I fell in love with this brand. My Bassoons which I purchased before this one are extremely comfortable and never bothers my feet. Unfortunately this is not what I wished to have. They are no doubt very attractive therefore I decided to buy them. I love to wear stylish sandals but I cannot compromise my comfort for that. The sole of this shoe is comfortably springy and they look little bit dressier too. The problem is that the stitching on the straps is a little rough on the inside unlike the Bassoon whose straps are lined in suede and creates no problems. I cannot walk in these for long as they start rubbing my feet and creates blisters. It is a perfectly nice looking sandal, but you can only wear these for 2 maximum 3 hours. I am sure that they will be fine with stockings, but at the same time I also think that they are not dressier enough for the stockings too. At the same time the feet liner has stitching which makes the shoe very uncomfortable and rubs my feet. This is a minor issue. I won’t say that this is the most pathetic shoe ever, but they are not good enough to be kept so I have to send these cuties back to store. I have to search my Merrell Bassoon again as they were perfect.
This sandal is a great disappointment!! I bought these thinking that I could wear them for a weekend in New York. I got really attracted when I saw them and thought that they will be the best one to have. I am a huge fan of Merrell and I knew that this sandal will also prove to be very good just like other shoes I have by this brand, BUT this shoe was not at all a good choice. I really loved the fact that they have a little heel, but I wobbled in them and the straps were not as supportive as I was hoping them to be. They left a lot of feet uncovered and unsupported which creates instability. They are also not true to size as they are half size smaller so I cannot recommend these to any one. They look super comfy. Any one can start thinking that they will be the best ever, which they are not.
I read thge last 3 reviews and was shocked to hear the negative things said about these sandals. I bought them in Silver Lining and just adore them. They feel as good as they look. They are my go to sandals when my feet are hot and tired, standing all day at work. I would certainly recommend them to anyone wanting a very comfortable sandal that looks very pretty and feels even better
