I have such a hard time finding shoes that are cute and work for me. I wear a full leg brace on my right leg and as a result my right shoe must be a sixe bigger and about twice as wide as my left. I don’t want to have to buy 2 pair so I try to find shoes that will work on both feet. These do the trick, they’re comfortably stretchy, and to my surprise the straps were even long enough!!! I would whole heartedly recommend these to anyone who is looking for a comfortable shoe that works in most any situation.
Bought this shoe for my elderly mom. She has terrible bunions and is hard to fit. Shoe is fashionable, comfortable and easy for her to put on. So far, she is very pleased.
I didn’t expect to wear this until this winter, but it’s so comfortable and such a beautiful style, that I wear them almost every day. The color (plum) is also perfect for any dark colored pant.
I have a fused large toe joint in my left foot and am always on the lookout for a comfortable, yet professional looking shoe with an approximate 1″ heal. This shoe fits the bill and then some.
I have four pairs of Propet Beach Walkers that are great for balance and support, however they are heavier than I like, high cut irritates the ankles and the T-strap is causing some problems. I waited for Propet to come out with another walker and walla the Twilite was the answer.Fits like a glove, unbelieveably light, good support, lower cut under the ankle with additional padding has relieved ankle irritation and the double strap provides secure fit. I have purchased both colors and look forward to happy walking days.
That’s just how these feel from the first time I put them on – like wearing slippers. I was afraid I wouldn’t like all the stitching, but they look pretty decent on. The double straps give them a different than run of the mill look and they make the shoe eminently adjustable for pretty near any foot. I’d recommend them for anyone who has foot trouble.
I wore these for the first time to the mall to get a feel for comfort. I was pleasantly surprised to find how comfortable they were and that I didn’t need to “break them in”. I bought them for our up coming trip to Europe and was looking for a walking shoe that didn’t look like a sneaker or an orthopedic shoe. I wanted something stylish that I could wear with pants or a dress and these shoes fit the bill. I am very happy with them.
If you have a high instep, pass this one up because of the way it is cuts across in the front.
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis and very wide feet! I’m a teacher and these are the closest in comfort to tennis shoes, but much more fashionable. I’ve broken down the comfort on my original three pairs and am replacing them after two years. I wear an impossible to find size 6 WW,so I should probably stock up in case they become discontinued!
The straps with velcro aren’t long enough. Even though I have a narrow foot and bought a medium width the straps don’t stay secure. The shoe has good cushioning on the bottoms and will be good walkers but I am going to have to get the straps lengthened.
I was looking for a cute Baby Janes that would go with my slacks and skirts and would also give me the support I need since I have a hip replacement and have lower back issues. These little cuties really do the trick! I wear them everywhere!
I purchased these shoes for my mother for her birthday. I was a little worried getting her something like shoes based on pictures, and from the internet. She can be hard to please sometimes, but not in this case. She loves them. I ordered a 1/2 size bigger like the ad says to and they fit perfect. She says they are very well made and very comfortable. I’m very happy I made this choice.
I ordered a size 7 1/2 instead of my normal size 7. I’m glad I did; otherwise, they definitely would have been too small. I LOVE the color because it looks good with casual wear, too.
I am a serious supporter for the Twilite Walkers. I have been wearing them daily since they first came out. The Twilite Walkers are lightweight, have excellent support plus good looks; I get shoe compliments every day.
This was the 2nd pair of Twilite Walkers that I have purchased for my mother who is 83. The velcro closing straps are great for her. She was having trouble tying her oxford type shoes. She has not complained about them feeling uncomfortable, and the soles are slip resistant. This shoe is practical and they are cute on her.
Bought this shoe to serve as a comfortable shoe that was more stylish than a typical walking shoe, which it is. I felt comfortable in it as soon as I put it on. I also like the ease of the 2 hook-and-loop straps, which help to hold my heel in place, since I have a narrow heel.Having read that the shoe runs small, I ordered a 1/2 size larger than usual and am glad I did, especially since I plan to wear trouser socks rather than hose with it this fall/winter. My normal size would have been too short. Width seems about right.If you order the correct size, it’s a good buy!
These shoes are great! I needed something to wear that supported my feet, allowed me to use my orthotics, AND didn’t look like a clunky athletic shoe. I’ve worn them for two years now, and it still looks & feels great! This shoe can be casual, or dressed up for church. I’m so glad I can now wear an attractive shoe, and still be able to walk all day and be comfortable.
I bought the blue ones as an alternative to my usual basic black. I’ve worn several styles of Propet over the years, some fit better than others. These feel a bit stiff and the upper strap is in an awkward place for my foot, so I won’t try to walk more than a few blocks in them at a time until I know their limits.I took the advice and ordered a 1/2 size larger than usual, and they fit well.
I bought these shoes after having bought a slightly different style for my trip to Paris where we walked for hours each day. The shoes look like stylish shoes, but they are so comfortable that I can be on my feet all day in them. I haven’t put the new ones to the test yet, but in the short time I have worn them, they are just as comfortable as the ones I bought 3 years ago. My old ones are still comfortable and still look new!
Great walking shoes! I probably can walk on them forever. I gave 4 stars because I wish they could have more a feminine look without sacrificing the comfort. The size issue is a little bit confusing, hard to decide unless I have different sizes at the same time to try on. I followed the recommendation, felt a little bit too big although it is still ok.
I have a number of foot problems including hammertoes and one uncorrected bunion. I have had surgery on one foot, and it’s narrower than the other. The straps on these shoes keep the shoe on the narrower foot, so the style is good for me. These shoes look good with slacks – a tad dressier than the very plain loafers I was wearing before I had to find more of a comfort shoe.
I bought this shoe because I wanted something comfortable, a little dressier than sneakers/lace-up shoes, that would accomodate my orthotics. They are very comfortable with my orthotics. The only problems I have with them are that they are about 1/4 size too large and I would like the top strap to be about 1/2 inch longer – the velcro just barely meets. I got the extra wide & the width is perfect. I put a small part of a nylon stocking in each toe so my foot doesn’t slide forward. All my life I’ve had trouble finding shoes that didn’t hurt my feet. These are the most comfortable shoes I have ever worn, even my bunions are happy! I even put the innersoles from the shoes into my mocasin slippers & made the slippers more comfortable.
I have a high arch, narrow heel and wide foot. My feet often swell by the end of the day. This shoe accommodates all of these problems. The only thing missing is arch support. The plum is a great color, goes with everything. The double straps give the shoe class, and are long enough to fit comfortably. I don’t particularly like the squared toe, but I need the deep toe box, so there you go. The padding at the back of the heel and heel notch are exactly what I need for my damaged achilles tendon and heel spurs. This is an extremely comfortable shoe, in spite of the missing arch support.
I bought these because my last pair of navy blue casual shoes were worn out. I usually end up with expensive European shoes, and was pleasantly surprised at how comfortable these are for a reasonable price. I haven’t done much walking in them yet, but I have worn them for my long days as a mom and the support is enough to keep my back & feet happy. They also look nice enough to wear out & about with a casual skirt~not clunky like some comfortable shoes.
I had another pair of these shoes and just loved them! So, when I needed a new pair for our trip, which will include lots of walking, I didn’t hesitate to order another pair. They do not require breaking in and the adjustable straps are wonderful when my arthritic foot swells by late afternoon. I would highly recommend them, very cute looking too.
I’m a big, wide footed frequent business traveller and am always on the lookout for comfortable flats that I can wear on big city sidewalks for many hours of walking. These certainly fit the bill as far as comfort goes. I just wish the style were a little less old-lady frumpy. I’d love to see more sophisticated styles in a comfort shoe — something I can wear with dressy pantsuits and still be able to walk off the plane and all over the city in both comfort AND style.
I actually bought this pair of shoes for my mother-in-law, but I have a pair just like them. She saw mine and wanted some just like them. I have had mine for about a year now and I wear them all the time. I particularly like the velcro straps and the stylish look. I can wear them with casual or dressy clothes. The only thing I do not like about this shoe is the removable insole. It comes out every time I try to slip my shoe off rather than unstrap it to take it off. Otherwise, it is the perfect shoe!
Well what can I say, these are the first shoes I have ever put on that felt simply wonderful from the start. A true Cinderella story you might say. I am diabetic and also have arthritis so shoes generally are not my friend. I wear these everyday, they feel so good and are as cute as can be. If my feet happen to swell on a certain day I simply loosen them with the straps and all is well with the world.
I have been searching for some time to find a dress shoe that would go with most of my wardrobe and accommodate my weird feet. I need to wear an orthodic insert, or some sort of arch support. The straps on this shoe keep it from slipping when inserts are added. I find the broad toe gives room for my post surgery toes. I have previously bought Propet shoes, and always been satisfied with them. I am especially pleased with this pair.
I have difficult-to-fit feet with a bunion needing width and a very narrow heel. Bad combination but this shoe was comfortable right away. The soft leather and regular width work well for the wider part of my foot and the shoe doesn’t press on the bunion. They easily accommodate my orthotics. The great feature for my heel was the padded area that is comfortable and keeps the shoe against my foot rather than riding up and down causing a blister. The shoes actually look better in real life. They are not as chunky as they may appear so I wear them with pants or shirts.
I work in a salon and am on my feet for anywhere from 6-10 hours a day and I really needed a shoe that would withstand that. This shoe definitely fits that description. I tried countless other shoes but at the end of the day, I still had the same problem, sore, tired feet. No longer do I have that problem with the Propet Twilite Walkers. They are amazing. I also love the fact that I can wear the straps straight across for a casual look or I can dress it up by crisscrossing the straps. I absolutely love this shoe and I would recommend them to ANYONE.
I love this shoe! It is smart, cute, and great most occasions. The velcro allows further adjustment to your foot. The sole is flexible and wonderful on the foot. Comfortable out of the box, and gets better the more you wear it! I have a pair. I bought my mother a pair, and we love them! I am a professor and she is a kindergarten teacher. We are on our feet all the time (she more than I) and these are comfortable and hold up well. Also amazingly water resistant! Great shoe for wide feet!
