I am in constant search for comfortable and stylish shoes and boots. I had surgery a few years back on my right big toe, so it has changed the types of shoes, I can wear ‘comfortably’. I also have a high arch and need good support. I can actually wear these shoes all day, and guys that I work with commented on how good they look and how much they would like to see their wives in them! They look kind of rugged, so I didn’t consider them to be sexy, yet I think they may have thought otherwise! I bought them in brown and black. I also have muscular calves, and I wear my leggings and skinny jeans inside these. VERY good deal!
These boots are very comfortable. I live in Michigan and they are plenty warm even when shoveling 4-8 inches of snow. I have mostly worn them to my college classes and my feet don’t overheat as they might with other boots. The boots width fits over most of my pants, even corduroys and jeans and I am curvaceous. I do think those with larger calves may have difficulties wearing the boots over pants. My calf is about 16 & 1/2 inches in diameter and zipping up the boots can be difficult over pants. If your calves are much larger, you may have difficulties, I think 17 inches would be the max, over thinner pants and leggings. These boots are stylish, comfortable and practical all at the same time. I am happy with my purchase.
The first time I put these on they felt like a comfy pair of slippers. It ended up being a 13 hour day wearing the boots and they were so comfortable. Didn’t have to break them in. Had so many comments. The are flat and have no heel at all which is probably why they are so comfy. I did water proof them as I live in Northern MN and would not recommend them on a cold day as they have no linning. Nice boots. You will Love them.
I absolutely love these Skechers boots! They are so comfortable–even after wearing and walking in them all day. In fact, I love them so much that I ordered the other color…I just wish they came in MORE colors because I would definately own them all! I wear these boots to work, to shop, everywhere I go. I love wearing them with a denim skirt or with a pair of blue jeans-tucked in. They are awesome boots!
I have the worse feet in the world! I’ve got broken toes, corns, bunions – and wide feet & rarely find a comfortable pair of shoes much less a pair of boots! Well – SKETCHERS are the best! I usually get 1/2 size larger just in case & SKETCHERS fit the bill every time! I have SKETCHER sneakers, which I absolutely LOVE! I wear them walking (have a pair of SHAPE UPS as well) or with a pair of shorts or jeans! Want to dress up a pair of jeans? Put a pair of SKETCHER boots on! BAM – dressed!
I bought these boots for cold weather. I haven’t worn them out yet but they appear durable and I’m hoping they can stand snow! Cute boots, looks good with jeans.
I love these boots. I live in rainy, cold PDX (oregon) so I depend on warm, rain proff shoes. Once you apply the scotch guard you are ready to roll. The calf area is nice and comfortable. One side (my right side) seems a little bigger, but that’s alright, no big deal. I recommend Sketchers to anyone who is looking for comfort and a bit of style.
