I love wearing my sketchers! I have been wanting to purchase these boots for the past 2 years, and now I finally have them! They’re really warm and comfy, and except for the fact that I need longer socks because it rubs my socks off when I walk, they worked really well this past weekend when I went camping, and they’re perfect for walking through the snow on campus at Michigan State!

  2. Palace Queen says:

First of all, the boots look good on my legs and feet. They are very comfortable and I can stand for long periods of time without fighting to take them off. Very comfortable wear, but, unfortunately the snow is gone and the weather is warming up. Hopefully next winter I will be able to fully put them to the test.

  3. Christal says:

I am currently going to medical school so I have to have white shoes. I have looked around town and can’t find any places that have my size so I decided to shop online. I am very pleased with my purchases and will continue to shop with you.

  4. Sabres says:

I bought these because they were on sale and I have them in another color. I have never gotten so many compliments on a pair of boots. They are cute and comfortable. I were them to hockey games where I have to walk through snowy parking lots and they keep my feet cozy all night in the cold arena. Love these boots!

  5. Boot Lover says:

Saw a co-worker with the brown boot and fell in love with it. Went online and found charcoal. I had to have them. I did get them and now my daughter wants to borrow my boots.

  6. Jo Baby says:

These are just like the picture, but I was scared the size would be different. Not a problem they look and feel great. No one has them and I am the envy of all my friends. I have four sisters and now we all have boots. My are by far the best of us all. Theirs are nice to. If you like the picture get them and I promise you will love them.

  7. Angie the Fashion Girl says:

I wear my new skechers boots all the time while it’s cold and snowy! The fur trim is the perfect amount of accessory to the style, but they are still practical and warm and very stable on snow and ice. I’ve worn them with skinny jeans tucked in, boot cut jeans over the top, and even under slacks on work days–they are a great transition from casual to business. And the grey color goes with EVERYTHING!

  8. Clo says:

I need a quality boot to tread snow in, that repels moisture, can accommodate wick socks and doesn’t break the bank. My Skechers Unlimited are perfect for Oklahoma cold, windy days, sunny or inclement. The sole of the boot is thick enough to keep my feet off the ground. The fur lining helps to insulate my feet and ankles. And they look good too. I’m toasty warm and feel fashion ready.

  9. Liz says:

They are a bit too tall, maybe just an inch or two. Have no arch support, had to buy expensive inserts to be able to walk on these. Also, the description says faux fur lining, this is incorrect, these boots have faux fur trim only and therefore do not keep your feet warm, not even in Florida, where I live. Another problem is that the top part keeps flopping over, because the lacing ends too low. Good thing I got them on sale.

  10. Beth E says:

I love all things Skechers so I was very disappointed when these boots turned out to be less than mediocre. I ordered them thinking they were “winter” boots that you could wear outside in the snow & cold (not 40 below or Minneapolis winter… just regular 32 degrees & snow on the ground weather). They are poorly made.

The biggest disappointment is that they are COLD and very flat so the cold from the ground radiates easily up through the boot. The heel is not as thick & insulated as it looks. AND, they are a huge pain to get on & off (regardless of the zipper). They are really only good for “show.” If you have money to throw away on purely cute, stylish boots, then these are for you.

Had I not thrown the box away I would return them. I doubt i’ll get much use out of them & feel this is money down the drain.

I live in Florida and needed warm boots with traction for a trip to a health retreat in the Berkshires and these boots exceed my requirements with style! I am very happy with my choice as far as fit, sole grip and ease of getting them on and off with the side zipper and lace-up features. I’ll be hiking safely and securely

  12. Onion says:

I really liked the shoes when I got them out of the box. After trying them on I realized they were too big and so I sent them back. I did send an email asking about how to do so, but never got a reply which was a little annoying. But I look forward to getting slightly smaller shoes back, because they were just what I was looking for!

  13. Rev Jovi says:

I love these boots! They are warm and I like that even though they lace up the front, they are easy on and off with the zipper on the inside of the calf. The only thing I did was add some gel insoles as the soles felt a bit hard, but I do that with most of my shoes anyway. I wear them everywhere and like that they aren’t cumbersome for driving.

  14. Danny says:

After searching for new boots & buying several pairs of heeled boots, to me the style wasn’t worth walking in boots that killed my feet!! I wanted some fur boots and found these Grand Jams online. Didn’t know if I would really like them but, now that I have tried them on, I LOVE them! They are VERY comfortable & my toes are not jammed into some heeled, pointed toe, torture boot! Even though I live in SC & we haven’t seen snow in a few years & shoes like this are not called for, they seem to be eye-cathcing & I’ve been showered with compliments! I’ve worn these boots to work & every where I go I get asked where I got these boots from! I would recommend these boots to everyone! 5***** on style, comfort, warmth… my only complaint; they seem to run about a half size too big or maybe I just need to buy thicker socks!

  15. Basdab says:

I needed a boot for schlepping around… When I go to the dog park and stand in a foot of snow; when I’m running errands; or for the long walk from my car to the office so not to ruin my work shoes. Good news is that they’re very comfy and extremely cute. Bad news is that I need to rethink my intended use for them.

Don’t get me wrong, they’re too cute to return but here are my minor issues:

-Not very warm. The picture shows all that fur lining so I assumed the entire boot is lined inside. Nope, just the boot shaft and the rest of the foot is in a fabric (for lack of better terminology). The closest comparison I can think of is that it’s like the inside of a tennis shoe.

-The fit will be tricky to maneuver. If I want to keep my toesies warm, then I’ll need a thicker sock. If I wear a thicker sock, it leaves less room around the calf (unless you’re wearing ankle socks, I suppose) and less room to zip them up. I bought the taller boot to tuck my pants in. I have average size calves and I don’t wear skinny jeans (a little inappropriate at my age) therefore other than leggings/tights, I don’t know what else I’ll be able to tuck in these boots. If I leave the pants out of the boot…well, then it looks like you’re wearing a frumpy pair of tennis shoes.

-Zippers, shoe strings, Velcro, fur-lined flaps…it’s overkill. These boots zip up. However they don’t zip to the top (so you can fold the top part down). Therefore, there’s a little velcro strap to secure the boots at top. Beware…this is some sort of government-strength velcro. I grabbed and tugged it open and it slightly nicked/poked my finger. So basically you have to carefully arrange the fur-lined flaps, zip them up, then velcro them shut but then there’s these long laces dangling too. It’s not THAT bad but I’m wondering if it’s all necessary. It’s not the boot to put on if you’re in a hurry. Wish these were simply slip on boots.

So that’s all I can really think of. As I mentioned before…I’m definitely keeping them. They’re too cute to return and they’ll look adorable once I figure out what outfit they’ll match. =)

  16. Becky says:

The only problem I have with these boots is that the top furry part is kind of flappy–meaning the very top part of the boot doesn’t sit close to your leg. I don’t think they’d be good for tucking your pants in, but I don’t do that so I’m not 100% sure. Just be aware that you will be able to see the bump from the top of the boot under your pants. Oh, and there’s no fur down by your toes, so your calves will stay nice and warm, but your toes may get cold. Definitely use the shoe sizer they have online–very accurate!

  17. Charlene says:

I ordered these boots because they looked so great and I wanted something warm for my trips north this winter. The big draw for me was the side zipper as well as the laces! I have very muscular calves, and sometimes have a problem with the higher boots fitting…the zipper and laces made that problem go away! As with any boot, I ordered a half size larger..and they fit just perfect, with plenty of room for heavy socks. Not only do they look great, but they are extremely comfortable! Can’t wait to head north!

  18. The 78 MSG says:

First off I bought these boots to wear to a concert at the Hollywood Bowl so if you have been to the bowl you know that it is all hills and lots of steps and tons of walking. This isn’t my first experience with sketcher products since they came out I have purchased numerous shoes, flip-flops, and long ago in the 90’s a pair of boots. I have a wide foot and a big calf, no worry curvy girls if you have big calves you can wear these boots because they do lace up therefore adjustable to your calves, however I have a wide foot and to my disappointment the front part of the boot where the stitching starts feels narrow to the point of notice and it felt like there was constant friction between my foot in the front and the boot. Thank goodness I didn’t have to stand all night but this can be quite annoying when you want to wear these boots walking around for some hours. It’s more annoying and irritating then sheer pain, so if you have a wide foot you might want to think twice before buying these boots.

I’ve bought these at Christmas time in 2006 and i STILL wear them all the time! They’ve travelled with me around the world, through the snow, wind and rain, they’re loyal and comfortable and amazing. The zip closure is genius (you get the hot look of laces without having to wrestle with them every time you go through an airport), for a tall boot they’re super easy to get on and off.

Amazingly comfortable, so sturdy, I have no fears in any off-terrain situation because of these boots. Plus you’ll get years of wear out of them!

  20. Snowbird from The Tropics says:

These boots are wonderful. Great grip for walking on ice. Can be worn folded down or not. I personally love wearing them all the way up. I would’ve preferred if the side strap was higher up to provide more support to the top when the boots are worn that way, but I’m just nitpicking. I get lots of compliments on them all the time. Would definitely recommend them.

  21. Rivetbob says:

I bought these because a review of them said they were not uncomfortable with a back injury. I am able to wear them and no problems with my back. I did purchase a pair of insoles, because the boots were not as cushy or supportive as my sketcher sneakers, so I’m glad the boot ran large, since adding the insoles they fit fine. The width feels good for me and i have a wide foot, so they are overall a little large for the size.

These will be my winter boots, and I am super excited to wear them.

The tops are meant to fold down, but the front flap by the zipper can fall over on it’s own, also when wearing “boot cut” jeans there is a noticeable line from the fuzzy top of the boots.

Overall, I love them and will thoroughly enjoy them through the winter.

one last note, Practically no break in time on these, just throw them on and wear!

It is hard to find right style shoe/boot in between seasons and this is the right one! I call Spring in Minnesota Sprinter because there is still snow on the ground and the cold wind that is associated with Winter is still blowing. Whether it is raining or snowing-these are the boots that will wear right.
My toes never had it so good! They even keep circulation due to all the comforting room!
Finally a pair of boots designed with square toes in mind

  23. PLT says:

I purchased these boots for myself, I bought a size smaller than I normally would because of a review. They fit perfectly, but I like to wear an extra pair of socks in the winter and I could not do that with the smaller shoe. No problem, my daughter wore them one day and I have not seen them since. So, I ordered another pair, in my usual size this time, and I am just as pleased with them as I was with the first pair. Very warm and comfortable, I really do not need that extra pair of socks.

  24. Higget says:

I love these boots. I bought them because I live in Minnesota and I got tired of ugly winter boots. We’ve had a really cold winter this year with lots of snow, so I couldn’t get away with not wearing boots. Except with these boots I find my self planning outfits that I can wear these boots as more than just outerwear.

They are comfortable and warm, and they are not too heavy to wear around all day.

If you want to tuck these into your jeans, you will have to adjust the the laces and the straps a bit, but it can be done.

If you are looking for a quick on and off, it can be done with the side zippers, but if you want to be more stylish and make sure it looks perfect, you’re going to have to take the extra 3-4 minutes to adjust the laces and what not.

The ‘shoe’ part of the boot does feel a little big in comparison to the the leg and ankle part of the boot, but as a northerner I know that is what helps them to be warm. It allows for your foot to move and for you to wear heavier socks. So, like I said, some adjusting of the laces may be necessary, but isn’t a big deal.

All and all, I am very happy with this purchase and I love my boots.

I love my new boots that I got in the Chestnut color. They are exactly what I’ve been looking for in a cold weather boot! (as I am not a fan of the ever popular Uggs) If I had a choice I would have ordered them a 1/2 size smaller. But figure they will still work if I just wear a thicker sock. I’m sure they will be nice an warm, but I’m hoping that they will hold up to the snowy conditions once I spray them. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a STYLISH winter boot (cause some can be sooo ugly!).

  26. Ki Ki says:

I have bought many skechers sneakers before but this is my first time for boots. I love these boots. They are kind of bulky at the top to put pants over them but I don’t really wear skinny jeans; I am more of a bell bottom girl. These are cute though either way. I love the comfort skechers shoes provide. These are great for winter because they have the same comfort as their sneakers but with more warmth! Also I did buy them a 1/2 size too big because they were the only ones they had left, but I am still extremely happy I bought them!

  27. Purple Rose says:

My daughter picked these out on line through a recommendation from one of my customers. She wears them mostly with jeans but they do go with some casual skirts (you know the ones at the college where anything goes). She likes them because they are very warm and she does a lot of campus walking.

  28. LD says:

I was looking for a pair of boots that had a combination of comfort and style. I absolutely LOATHE the look of Uggs, which really narrowed my selection. After searching extensively, I stumbled upon the Skechers website and found this particular pair. While I could get a much better deal buying them directly from Skechers, I wanted to make sure they would fit upon arrival, so I sought them out in a local store, tried them on for size, came home, and immediately placed my order. Having owned the boots for a few weeks now, I am totally satisfied with my purchase. They are comfortable, easy to get on and off, stylish, and durable. They fit nicely under jeans. The only thing that’s a little odd is that the Velcro top doesn’t sit right above the zipper closure, so there’s a bit of a gap there, although that really isn’t much of a complaint. I would strongly recommend these boots to others.

  29. Skechers Gal says:

This is a great looking, warm and comfy, stylish winter boot! Really nice, I got A LOT a compliments from everyone who saw me wearing them! Casual winter-style boot, looks best with skiny jeans tucked in! The showing fur on the edges is a great touch! The only small thing missing is a fur lining in the foot area, if you are looking for a REALLY warm boot for a seriously cold weather, although they are pretty warm even without it! I would definitely recomend them!
