Featured Review: (by a Teacher), This is the first time that I am writing a review because I really feel that people need to know this. I ordered the first pair online for my uncle and they were very nice, good color and everything.I ordered a second pair for another uncle, and the shoes had a scratch on them. I returned those and ordered another pair and those were just so cheap looking and defected. The bottom of the shoe was not in center with the shoe. I went to a Timberland store in hopes to find a better pair there, when they brought the shoes out they also had several scratches on them. I am def. not ordering again because the first pair that I got, my uncle said that they were not comfortable at all. Really disappointed with Timberland, their shoes are not the quality they used to be.
Unfortunately there is no retail outlet near my residence. I purchased the shoes on line. The quality of the shoes was not acceptable. There was a color variation from shoe to shoe and the shoes did not fit correctly. I continue to wear old Timberland boat shoes which I purchased years ago, and they only get more comfortable with time and wear. The problem, they are worn and tattered, and only worn for yard and garden work. I was excited about receiving my new Timberland, but upon receipt very dissatisfied. The shoes were returned the next day.
I was looking for a pair of eye-catching boat shoes, and the Orange Rust Suede fits that criteria spot on. They are comfortable right out of the box, but I have not had them long enough yet to know how they will wear – this is my first pair of Timberland boat shoes.
I wear a size 10 1/2 in every shoe I own. I ordered these in 10 1/2 and they were too small. Ordered them in 11 and wore them around to break them in and they never adjusted.
The best casual shoe ever! Just throw them on with jeans and a comfortable shirt and that’s all you need. The quality of these time honored shoes will allow them to age gracefully and hold up in any type of environment. A must have for any shoe enthusiast.
Wore out the last ones in 5+ years and replaced with the same. Breaking the new ones in now to wear with shorts and no socks all summer long. Comfortable, durable product.
I bought this same product around 15 years ago and they’re still functioning fine. They just don’t look so good anymore. I wanted another pair of the exact same item to wear for casual events in warm weather.
I am getting a lot of use out of my recent purchase of the Classic Boat Shoe. Good for everyday use, yet looks well at dressy affairs. i have gotten a lot of positive comments on their looks! I am really impressed by the Timberland quality. Thanks
I wear the Boat Shoe for just about everything. Boating, walking, casual wear or just around the house. I have been wearing them for over forty years and feel they are best you can buy and are a better value than any competitors shoe. I have on occasion paid 30% more for similar shoes which did not satisfy my needs and desires. I now buy only Timberland. And the service, when needed, is superior in every way.
Bought this to replace same model owned for multiple years. This is a cheap imitation not worth more than 1/4th the cost. I will never buy another Timberland product. I really do not understand why a company with such a good reputation would sell a product which is so inferior to it’s previous version. I expected the same or better.
