Featured Review: (by KT), I got these shoes for work because i had worn through the soles of shoes i had previous, and these looked like they could take a beating. The first sign of trouble was when i had noticed that the shoes had stained every pair of socks I wore with them and will continue to stain them to this day (i’ve had the shoes for around 8 months). If you purchase these shoes, only wear them with black socks. The second MAJOR problem with these shoes are the laces. I go through a pair of laces in these shoes every 3 to 4 weeks. I think it has to do with the metal eyelets, but i have never figured out why the laces begin to get fuzzy and fray up. I usually just cut the parts that unravel but after a few months of walking in them they will need replacing. The third problem with these shoes is the weight. One of these ankle boots somehow weighs more than my PAIR of mid calf boots. The fourth problem i have encountered just recently with these boots is that the heel has begun to wear out considerably and the foam padding is now hanging out. I feel that it is not too much to ask for a quality boot to last for years and I am almost at the point of replacing these after only 8 months of moderate use, walking and working indoors.

These shoes are very rugged and nothing to wear at a customer meeting or on your first date. However, for most other occasions there are no shoes that are more comfortable or afford you more stability or warmth for your feet. I definitely recommend them and I will buy another pair once the one I own is worn out.

I bought these shoes for my college son who only wears gym shoes and I wanted something more for the snow. This was a good compromise we could reach and he loves them. Added bonus that his feet stay warm, dry, and they look stylish. We are both very happy with this product.

I’m a truck driver. I wanted a comfortable, waterproof shoe to wear in the terminal yard as well as drive in. The oxford style doesn’ bind at the ankle when working the pedals of the rig and the sole design gives me traction in the snow and stones of the terminal yard.

This is a terrific all purpose shoe. The black shoe looks OK for work but can even be worn hiking since it has good tread, ankle support & is waterproof. I love it particularly in winter/sloppy season because it cleans up easily & you don’t need to change in & out of boots.
About to order my 3rd pair….

Great shoe, ordered the black/nubuck again, my old ones lasted 6 years with wearing them everyday. they will arrive a little stiff, but break in very well. hard to find in stores so you may have to purchase on line. they are a little oversized(if your picky) so if you want a exact fit, order a half size down.
