Featured Review: (by Barbara Plocki), I have owned this boot for a year and it has been great. I ordered a half size up from my keen shoes and clogs and the fit is fine. Winter and summer I wear smartwool hiking socks. My feet have stayed cool and dry in the summer and warm and dry in the winter. The boot has handled brief steps in creeks and a lot of snow without a problem. On a 4 hour hike in wet snow, the inside of the boot felt damp to my hand, but my socks and feet were dry… not sure what to say about that, In October the boots were on all kinds of terrain around the Bay of Fundy in New Brunswick and they handled loose or slippery rocks, mud, and pine needle paths very well, They were on my feet at least 12 hours a day and no discomfort. I will buy another pair before the style changes… did I mention wearing them snowshoeing… great!

This boot is incredible. I have just returned from a 6 day canoe trip in the Boundary Waters. This boot provided the ankle support needed to portage the steep rocky trails, and was truly waterproof. Many times I needed to step into water to get in and out of the canoe and not once did the boot fail to protect my foot from the water) until a spill into the water that was deeper than the boots. When this happened it took very little time for the boots to dry. I would highly recommend this boot for any type of hiking/camping/outdoor activity. My feet stayed cool and dry in the heat, and warm and dry in the cool

Ive tried so many hiking boots, but I always end up with pinched toes or a heel that slips and leaves me with blisters. The Keen Oregon PCT is the only boot Ive ever found that is designed for the way feet are shaped. Ive put many miles on my PCTs, and I absolutely love them.

Wow. Zero break-in time. Kept me warm in cold snow days, kept me dry (not sweaty) on hot hiking days, and kept my clumsy feet underneath me and stable where they should be. Feels like my feet are invinsible in these babies. Love them!

Under the specs it says this shoe tends to run 1/2 size small. I’ve found that to be true with other styles of Keen hiking shoes I have, but I got the Oregon PCT 1/2 size large and it is too large, even with two pair of socks. Other people I know that have this shoe said they bought their normal size.
