The heel is 1 inch high and it’s made from wood which is stacked. The outsole is made from rubber which is recycled and provides traction and easy ride. The shaft is 15.5 inches high with 16 inches of circumference and it weighs 23 ounces (as per size 7). These are the greatest casual boot ever owned by my closet. They look amazingly cool with a denim or corduroy skirt. I am not in o tall boot and they don’t fit properly on my calves. I took a risk to buy these as I simply loved the design and like other girls I also wanted to look stylish in tall boots. I purchased these and very glad that I made this decision. They slip right on no problem. I can also tuck my skinny jeans in these. I can also take these for a walk in the snowy sidewalks with out any problem. It seems to be very slip resistant as I can walk very easily on snow with slipping or falling. It is a very warm boot which protect me from extreme weather conditions. They are extremely comfy and look great. They are the warmest boots ever. My feet never smell in these, I think they absorb the moisture and keep them dry which is a very good point. I am definitely going to buy another pair of this. They look great with almost any thing from jeans to skirts and capris. Highly recommend this boot.
