Featured Review: (by Jeff), After seeing the other two very negative reviews, I had to add my own. I bought a pair of these at the end of last year’s summer season and couldn’t be happier with them. A little stiff at first, but that went away with them breaking in. The footbed is shaped well and comfortable, and unlike some other sandals I’ve had, doesn’t ever seem to get sticky after extended wear. A much better sandal than the reviews would indicate. Look nice too. The one thing with them is the width. They run a little wider than many shoes might. My forefoot is about an E width, so that suits me just fine. But if you have a narrower foot, you might not fit these so well.

I did a LOT of shopping around for a sandal that was comfortable for me. I need some arch support and most of the stuff out there is totally flat. I also don’t like the ‘thong’ design which limits my options. Aside from some stuff i found over $120, there is just nothing out there that worked. These have great support, not like an orthotic, but comfortable enough that i can wear all day without any discomfort.I have not as of yet had any issues with blusters. Only been wearing them a few days though.

I bought these last summer (2010) on my wife’s recommendation. I usually try to buy nicer footwear because I’ve found the more you spend, the better the product — not so much with these sandals.

I’ll admit that they are well made, but the design and function don’t meet on these sandals. I can only wear them one day at a time and then require a week or more for my feet to heal so I can wear them again. With tax, I paid almost $100 for these and I wish I could get my money back. It feels like I’ll never really break these in. Usually I wear out a pair of sandals per summer, but at this rate, it’ll take five years to wear these out (is that a ‘pro’)?
    Don’t buy these.

I bought this sandles mostly for walking around town. Knowing it was a Timberland brand bought it for looks and comfort. After 10 min of walking in it I started to get hotspots and Blisters. Could not return because it was used. Will not recomand.

The cross bands on these sandals are stiff causing hotspots (blisters) on the edges where your feet meets the bands. These sandals are ok for walking around the house only. I would have returned the sandals, but box and receipt where thrown away by mistake.
