Featured Review: (by The Chancellor), I’ve been waiting for this type of shoe for a very long time. I work in the offshore industry and travel a massive amount internationally. WIth baggage fees and space and size constraints now in the airline industry it makes it difficult to pack more than one pair of shoes.These Radlers solved this issue for me. Plain and simple they are comfortable, Stylish and very reasonably priced. I seriously wish I would have bought more. On the vessels that I work on as a telecom undersea cable route designer I need shoes that are easy on and off, cover the toe and once again comfortable. Once again these shoes fill that niche also. I have not yet been camping with them yet, but as far as i can see. they are going to work perfect for camping and hiking. I have been in Iceland, Scotland and Ireland since I purchased these and whenever someone actually gets a look at the shoe and understands what they are about….. All I hear is “I want a pair”. Timberland….. Nice Job with the Radler. I WILL be back for more.
Astoundingly perfect for int’l travel when you need a 2nd pair of shoes BECAUSE of your commitment to carry-on. Adios gym shoes, running shoes, flip flops, sandals, et al. Have to pack for 2 weeks in India. YES, I know they are false to British with ‘proper’ dress expectations. But I’m a gringo and when i play golf at their plush Country Club, my Red shoes are all I need to say about the American spirit. Way to go TBL. And BTW, the 3 colors are perfect. Stick with them…..
They could consider making an alternate version which zips a pair together. Or have a design that when zipped the sole is hidden – at the moment if the shoe is a bit dirty and you zip it up – the whole thing is dirty and you have find a bag for them – if somehow a pair zip into one and other and hides the dirty sole then it will be even handier!
I love this shoe…It’s the perfect summer/spring shoe..it’s very light and comfortable..I love the zipper feature for space saving and a great casual beach…boat and barbecue shoe..The only drawback is other than the black color..I’m not in love with the red and yellow color…you could use a dark brown and blue color.
