I gifted them to my daughter in pink color and she just went crazy about them. She wears them daily and recently she told me that she needs another pair of them. They are comfortable and fit nicely with any casual outfit. The sole has great traction. My daughter does not skate but yet she loves them. She is planning to gift a pair to her friend on her birthday. The use of fabric does give softness but I think that it would reduce the life of the shoe. But as per the price, these shoes are great.
