Dress pants these days are longer, so finding a shoe/boot that is comfortable, yet with a high enough heel is a problem. These boots fit the bill and are easy to wear. I love the slightly tapered heel, so it is not too chunky, and not too high. They are much more comfortable than thinner heeled boots of the same height. I bought these to replace a similar pair, but these have a more stylish cut in the toe, and the stitching up the middle really gives it flair.
I have bought better quality leather shoes, but these are definitely some of the best looking and most comfortable shoes I have ever had. I was tired with shoes that get ruined in the rain and snow and have to be replaced after a long winter. I have only had these for a few months, but I wear them every day, and they still look brand new. I would definitely buy this brand again and again!
I bought my daughter, who is a student teacher, a pair of Aerosoles flats and she mentioned that the shoe was comfortable. When I saw the boot, I thought I’d give it a try. I wore it to work today and took an extra pair of shoes, thinking I wouldn’t be able to wear the boots all day, but I did. They’re are very comfortable and I am thinking of getting them in Tan.
Out of the box I was able to wear these boots to the flower and garden show and walk all day! Very cute and worth the money. There is a definite heel, but not too thin to wear while walking. Not too dressy, perfect with jeans. I am a size 6 and they were true to size. This was my first purchase with Shoebuy, great price and service.
I’ve been looking for a replacement pair of casual boots to wear with jeans or even to wear w/slacks for business-casual days at work. These are perfect in every way – very comfortable, easy to walk in, I usually wear 7.5 in dressy heels but i get my boots in size 8 to allow for the “sock” factor. These are an 8 and I am thrilled with the fit. Not too tight, not too loose. It’s nearly 6pm right now and I’ve been wearing them since 9am this morning — not a complaint whatsoever!
I’ve been looking for an ankle boot in this particular tan color for quite some time. It’s a great color and goes wonderfully with jeans and dress slacks. I first ordered a size 9 since I would be wearing them with socks, but they were too big. I’m glad I had free shipping, therefore, ordered a size 8 1/2. They were much better! The heel isn’t too high for me and they’re pretty comfortable too. Very soft leather. It would be nice if the inside footbed had a bit more padding.
I bought this shoe because I liked the style, shape and price. Because I am taller than the average person, with bigger joints and bones, I will hesitate to say that the size was not true to size. Although it was a bit snug in my ankle area, it felt comfortable and was also comfortable to wear. Nothing a little wearing won’t fix. I will be looking for more styles and sales, and will buy again in the future.
I had high hopes for these shoes since everyone was raving about them. While I don’t exactly dislike them, they aren’t as comfortable as I had hoped. I think this has to do with the size and width of my feet; I generally wear an 11W, but purchased the 12W at the recommendation of the site and other reviewers. That was a smart move, but because of the overall size of my feet and my height (5’10”), I feel a bit unstable on these boots while walking (having certain areas with cobblestone in Boston doesn’t help). There really is no ankle support, which is probably fine if you are shorter and have smaller feet. The heel is also narrow relative to the overall size of a 12. The actual fit is fine and I do like the style, although the Bronze color is a bit of a mystery, as it’s not quite brown but also not black. I’ve debated getting these in another color, but given the issues I’ve had, that seems less likely.
Nice looking, nice heel height, comfortable and light weight – easy to pack. I have not walked extensively in them yet so can’t comment on overall comfort over the long haul. I think they will be a nice addition to my shoe wardrobe, useful in light rain – even in summer – when I’m going somewhere nice and don’t want to look clunky or ruin a pair of shoes.
I was looking for a cute boot to go with jeans and I didn’t have any red shoes so this was a perfect match. I recommend wearing with high socks as it irritates the part of the leg where the top rubs. The seemed a little wider around the foot than I thought they would be so I would probably only wear with pants or jeans.
However, I purchased two pairs of this boot, red and black. I tell you, the boots are so stylish and comfortable. I love the boots! I like the lining in the boots. Extra protection from the cold weather. In contrast with other boots, you would need to double on socks, because the lining is lacking. But I have a very narrow foot. I am a 10AA. The boot was a little wide for my foot. But I love to wear a heavier sock in the winter. It does not make your foot side, like most boots do when you walk. I am so happy to purchase the boots.
I bought the shoes looking for a comfortable pair of boots. They are very comfortable in the feet, but the very top of the shoe tends to cut into the calves a little bit. This will probably stretch out over time. I bought a pair in patent leather, which turned out to look very plastic-y and a little cheap. I think if it had been done in a different material, they’d look like higher quality shoes.
These boots are way more comfortable than I expected. I like the fit and the appearance. It’s rare for me to find a boot that both looks good and is this comfortable. I usually wear flats. The heals on these shoes seem to be very well balanced and solid so the ankle part of the shoe doesn’t wiggle around when I walk even though these are healed boots. Very pleasantly surprised.
I liked this boot because it was a short boot,with the right heel height, and the color is very nice. My only regret is that I wish I would have gotten a half size smaller for a perfect fit. I could have returned if for another pair that’s the correct size, but I wanted to wear the boots to work with the new suit. I like this style so much that I am considering purchasing the same boot in black!
Anyway, the boot has a nice heel, is quite comfortable (comfortable enough to wear for an eight-hour shift), and is a great color (dark, mahogany brown). My only complaint was related to my left calf being a little thicker than my right, so it filled out the top too well, and the stitching around the zipper rubbed against my skin. I fixed that by scraping off the hard threads.I love these boots. They look great with just about anything.
I was looking for a comfortable boot that I could wear to work w/dress pants, etc. For the heel height and sleekness of this boot, it is pretty darn comfortable. I am up and down on my feet all day and can wear these with no problem all day long. By the end of the day the toes do feel a little “pinched” but that is to be expected from a pointier-toed shoe. In comparison to other boots I own with similar heel height and pointy toes, this boot is much more comfortable. The shoemaker smartly added a bit of platform to the sole so you get all the height with less of the pain.
I bought these boots in anticipation for a trip to D.C. during Spring. I normally wear a size 5.5, and the 5.5 fits JUST RIGHT. They are so just right that I have to wear trouser socks. Thick socks make them snug. From the first day, I could wear them all day at work. I like that the “leather-looking” material is thin, and enables me to flex my ankles. I bought the brown, and then bought the black soon after!
AWESOME!! It is the most attractive boot ever. I purchased these because I was in love with these boots. They look awesome in every way. They are the most stylish boot of my wardrobe. I loved the simple yet eye catching shape of this boot. I don’t even remember how many complements I have received on these so far. ALL I know is that where ever I go people start asking about these and I have become quite popular for the choice of my shoes. The best thing about this boot which makes it worth watching is actually its LEATHER. I have never seen such high quality leather and the shine makes it worth watching in every way. You will be glad to have these on your feet. When you look at the leather you actually forget about buying cheaper boots as they can never give an outlook which this boot does. This boot is very easy to maintain. I have these from the last 6 months and they shine like the new one. I just wipe them with a cloth and here you go. The interior is very soft and cushy and you can easily wear these any where from work to lunch with no problem. I have been wearing these for hours and my feet have never hurt. They are the best boots ever who has no negative point. The outsole is made from rubber which makes it very durable too. In these six months I have not experienced any draw back or negative point in this boot. I am happily enjoying the ride in these. They never stick no matter you wear these in summers. They never require any break in time and they run true to size as well. It is in black which I can wear with any thing. They look amazing with my blue jeans and people literally say “WOW”. Its heel is 2 ½ inches high which is moderate and any one with any height can easily manage to wear these. I would high recommend these to any one who wants to look sexy and stylish but in a comfort zone. Thumbs up!!
