I have worn Daniel Greene house shoes all my adult life and I am now 65 years of age. I have been wearing Daniel Green Slippers for 12 years because they are the most comfortable slippers I have ever worn. They have a long life and hold their beauty. Can even be worn outdoors for casual wear. Wouldn’t think of any other slipper for me.
My mother has been wearing Daniel Green slippers for as long as I can remember – over 50 years (fortunately it’s not the same pair all that time). She absolutely loves them because they have a heel, aren’t too warm, last a long time, look elegant, and are very comfortable. My mom is 87 years old and can’t walk for long periods to find the slippers so I’m grateful I could fine them online.
I have worn this shoe brand/style for a number of years. I wear a “narrow”, which are hard to find in stores. I ordered two pairs and they fit fine, although, I thought the blue pair was a little more snug than the black pair. From past experience, I know that these shoes do soften up a lot after they are worn for a little while. I’ve been wearing the blue pair around the house in the evenings and I can already tell a difference. Normally I prefer leather shoes, but these work well even though they are vinyl. When I’m on vacation and have worn tennis shoes all day (perhaps driving), it’s a welcomed relief to let my feet breathe and slip into my Dormies to go walking around town. I think they last well, too. I can’t remember how many years it’s been since I bought my last ones, but it’s been a few.
I have been wearing Daniel Green Dormie slipers for years. I have 2 homes ,so I have a pair at each house and wear them only in the house. Both pairs are gold. One pair I bought in Florida in the 70’s and one pair in the 80’s. The first pair which I’ve worn the most are still good structurally, showing a little wear on the bottom and the gold tops had gotten a little dull looking. I’ve never been able to find them in Idaho since I moved here in 1978. I’ve had a computer for about a year and a half and just recently thought about looking on the internet to see if I could find them. I not only found them but had a new pair soon after. I recently ordered them. I usually buy them at a shoe store but they no longer sell them. I was thrilled to find them at ShoeBuy. Plus they had so many colors and patterns. They were cheaper than the other mail order companies I researched-plus no shipping. They arrived in 3 days as promised plus sent me an email stating they had received my order and another email stating they were being shipped. First of all I would like to express my satisfaction of the fast and professional service of shoebuy.com. I received the slippers few days after I ordered them. I have difficulties finding my size 11 in the stores. The slippers are soft, light and comfortable. The only thing that should be improved is the material under the foot. Being shiny leather it makes the foot sweat and sticks.
I have been wearing Daniel Green Dormie Slippers for many many years and have always ordered them in black size 10W. This time I ordered the same size in gold and they are too wide and too long, my thought was that maybe they are a different material than the black therefore size runs larger? They were clearly marked the correct size but don’t fit well, being so certain I would love them as always I through out the box and therefore didn’t return them. The slippers are in fact the same nice quality I am accustomed to from Daniel Green.
I’ve been wearing Daniel Green Dormies for at least 40 years out of my 87 years, if not longer. My most recent pair lasted about 20 years, and I wore them that long only because I was unable to find them in any store, no matter which city I happened to be in. I was told the company was no longer in business and that they were no longer available. My daughter suggested that I google Daniel Green Slippers and much to my delight there were my Dormies! I haven’t discarded the old ones. I still use them when doing messy household chores.
CUTE!! These sandals are very cute and attractive, the design is simple but the leopard skin fabric makes it worth watching. A lot of people have admired these shoes of mine. They look awesome with jeans. One thing – they are casual shoes and you should never try to use these as a formal one as they cannot fulfill this purpose. These shoes have a great arch support system and because they have a low heel they are very easy to walk and offers ultimate cushioning. They are also very easy to put on and off. You will never regret your purchase. I wear these almost everyday as they have become my go to every where shoes. if you are looking for a perfect casual sandal then this is it. It is my first pair by this brand but obviously not the last. They worth every penny they have asked. I am sure that you will also love these slides. HIGHLY SUGGESTED!
