The man-made foam is covered with sock lining of leather which is vegetable tanned and Nonallergenic, to provide softness and it also absorbs the moist away to keep the foot fresh and healthy. The heel has polyurethane which is protective and makes the heel go up and down at the time of walk to enhance the stability and comfort. To enhance the support and stability of the shoe, the inner frame is made from PVC. The outsole is made from polyurethane which ensures the flexibility, ability to absorb shocks and to bare the cold and hot surfaces. I feel like these shoes are custom designed only for me. I am a nurse and I have to be on my feet for 10 plus hours. I always purchased the nurse mates because they are really comfortable. But now since I tried these ones, I am very surprised. I can be on my feet throughout my shift time and then walk back home and there is no pain in my feet or legs. My co-worker told me about these shoes and I said that there is no other shoe that can match up nurse mate but I was so wrong. These shoes do match and exceed the comfort and support. I admit they are not much padded but in spite of that they offer great arch support and all day long comfort. They are a bit expensive but they worth every penny. I’m glad I bought these shoes. The size and width is true. It’s been over 8 months I have been using them and there is absolutely no problem at all.
