I’ve recently taken up running again, and noticed that while my feet felt fine immediately after running, I couldn’t stand on our ceramic flooring long without my feet aching. Because I’m preparing for a race, I didn’t want to risk injuring my feet so I started researching slippers with arch supports. These slipper have been fantastic, I’m totally convinced that they’ve helped my training. Usually when I start running after being sedentary, I have to deal with aching feet. The only thing I’ve changed this time around is wearing the slippers. I’m sold and will definitely buy more. I’ve read that these slippers have been around for a long time, so I’m confident I can wait a year before buying my next pair, but if I heard they were going to be discontinued I’d easily buy 10.
I don’t like to wear street shoes around the house, so I tried several different ‘slippers’. These are far and away the best I have found. Always comfortable and warm in the winter – but not too warm in the summer. They seem fairly durable and wear well, although I have had the sole separate on the right foot on two pair. My current pair are going strong after a couple years and the sole has not separated.
I bought this after searching the Internet for a slipper that would help with Plantar Fasciitis. I needed something with a strong arch support to wear around the house (I didn’t want to wear shoes). Walking barefoot or in socks is uncomfortable. It really feels great and helps with the pain. The only negative I would give is there is no back to the slippers to help hold them on, so they slip off your feet easily. If they had a back, more like a shoe, I would give them a five rating.
I love the slipper for year round warmth and comfort in any season but the interior footbed does not last and deteriorates within a few months time. I do not go outdoors with them and when home I wear them inside all the time. This is probably my 6th pair or more, since I’ve never had a more comfortable pair, but I gave it a 4star rating instead of 5 due to the footbed deteriorating on every pair I’ve owned. I am an average weight and wear them only inside the confines of an average home on carpet and tiled floors. If it weren’t for the great fit and comfort, I would have not purchased again.
I love the way this shoe embraces my foot like a slipper. Comfortable and warm. I was a bit surprised that the bottom of the shoe, while marked with non-slip treads, was clearly intended for indoor use only. My old wool clogs had a cork bottom that worked indoors or out. With these, I’d fear they’d get wet and wouldn’t hold up. In any case, I wanted them for indoors, and so am very happy with them. Perfect for a chilly night!
I have plantar fasciitis and needed slippers with an arch support and good cushioning under the balls of my feet. These slippers are wonderful. I’m wearing them right now and change into them as soon as I get home. I have been wearing them for around a month and they continue to be comfortable, warm (not sweaty) and really good cushioning on the floors. I like that they are soft soled and light, no noise when walking around the house. I liked them so much I bought a pair for my husband for Christmas. Unless something changes I can foresee buying these for the rest of my life.
This is the best slipper ever! Somebody originally bought me a pair as a gift because I was complaining about slippers with no arch support and how at the end of a long day at home my feet hurt. I loved them so much I have bought them for friends for gifts, and this pair I bought for my husband who loves it too! They are warm and have great arch support. After wearing them for a little while, and then taking them off and walking around without them, you really miss them and notice how great they are! I would recommend for anyone that spends time at home!
I bought these slippers for my husband for Christmas to replace a similar style he currently owns. He wears a size 12 shoe, so I ordered the equivilant to US size 12, but they were too small all around, too short and too narrow. But the Haflinger quality is very good and the grey color very nice. He wants to stick with his old pair for now, but when we decide to re-order, we now know to go up one full size.
These are incredible slippers. We just bought a house where the first floor is all tile. Every night by bed time my feet ached and they felt like they were on fire from walking and standing on the tile all day. After researching the best slippers/house shoes, these came up as the top choice. They are so comfortable and fit perfectly! My feet have not hurt once since wearing these in the house. I love them and recommend them to everyone I know!
This is my third pair of Haflingers. Each pair has convinced me that these are the best. I love the interior shape and contour of the sole. It perfectly conforms to my feet. It is warm in winter and cool in summer. For years I have tried to convince my husband that he would like them too. Finally he tried an old pair of mine and wanted a pair of his own. The only problem I have with them is that the toes wear out. When that happens, that pair definitely becomes my summer pair.
I am very happy with these slippers. I normally wear a size 7-7 1/2 and ordered a size 38. They felt a little snug right out of the box but after about 3 hours of wear they were perfect. The seam down the middle was noticeable at first but that flattened out after a few hours as well. The foot bed has a very subtle and comfortable arch support and is soft and flexible. The sole does not leave marks on the floor and is silent when you walk (no clopping noise). My sister has had a pair for 3 years and they still look like new, I am looking forward to years of happy feet!
I love these and am thrilled with my purchase. I expected them to be warm, cozy, and comfortable. What I didn’t expect is how they keep my feet at the perfect temperature and how cushiony and supportive the latex sole is. Unlike other slippers that flatten out after a while (Acorn), these only seem to get better with time. The other thing I love about these is the non-outdoor sole. It is so hard to find a slipper with an indoor sole. I prefer the indoor soles because they aren’t as tough on our wood floors. The only thing I’ll change when I need to replace these is the size. I’m a true 9 1/2 so I ordered up to a 10 (41). Next time I plan to order the size 9 (40).
I have plantar faciatis and very flat feet. I have been ordering these slippers for years and wear them very comfortably. They are very comfortable and provide enough support that I do not need to wear my orthotics with them. The only problem is they become a little slippery on tile floor when the non-skid dots wear off the bottom. Make sure they fit after you receive them. On one pair I received, one slipper was sized incorrectly and on another pair, the insole was glued incorrectly. However, it was very easy to send them back and get replacement pairs.

I am wearing it all the time and my feet feel so good in these that they refuse to take them off. I wear them the whole day and only take them off while going to bed.
