Featured Review: (by Mike), Shopped Timberland all my life. Three casual fashion boots in last five years. First pair was true to size, and appeared so. Second and third pairs were visually longer than I thought normal (size 10 if it matters) and felt like clown shoes initially. After a couple days, they fit perfectly. To be clear: yes, I think something changed in recent boot design. So at first try-on I too thought I’d need a half size smaller. But I wore them around the house, and was confident enough to wear outside. Width perfect. And — this is key — the length turned out to be perfect. It takes a bit for the boot to match your foot and vice versa. I can’t speak for others’ experiences, but in my own I am glad I did not take the advice of buying a half size down.

Wasn’t sure about the styling at first, but after a while it was a bit of a unique look for a slip on boot, so I bought them. The soles are a bit thin and they are recycled rubber, hopefully it meets up to walking comfort as well as cushioning. The leather is nice, I hope the forefoot area breaks in properly so it won’t be tight as it is now. Also how often do you have to use the wax thing on these boots they’re selling in the Timberland store? Overall a really good boot. hopefully the soles don’t wear out quickly….
I wear this boot almost everyday. I enjoy the comfort and the style of this boot. Also, the easy of putting it on and taking it off is nice. I was worried about the boot staying snug, having a Chelsea style, but the fit is great.
I am a mixed animal veterinarian. The boot is dressy enough to wear to work and still be safe and comfortable around the livestock. Cleanes well with good integrety to the leather and color. Is getting a little loose now that is broken in. Wish you had had the zip lace up boot in my size
This shoe is really nice, feels great wearing and I love it. I have no problem with the shoe itself other than it feels full size to big for me. I wear 10.5 on all my other shoes and I ordered 10.5, but I was surprised to see that it is quiet big. I needed the shoe right away and therefore did not return it for a smaller size. But next time, I will make sure I get a 10 instead.
I use it to go to work on raining/snowing days. It does its job, but I feel pain in both fibula. It gets better with the time, but that is not something I expect from Timberland shoes. Also, it could be a little bit warmer.
I ordered these boot for my husband for the winter. He wears suits to work and needed a durable boot that can be worn with suits. A few snow storm later and the boots look horrible. He only had them for one month and they look like they are ten years old. Okay for cold weather but definitely not for snow or rain.
Very comfortable leather, very stylish. Not too heavy of a boot, which is great for general use. Sacrifices just a little cushion with a thinner sole than some may want. Best use for casual around town, night out, jeans and a blazer, etc. Not the best choice for all day on your feet work boot.
I’m between a 12.5 to 13 shoe size (depending on the shoe)Order size 13 but these boots are way to large. 1.5 size to big. My big foot was swimming in these things…So if your thinking of buying these boots, they run very large, so get a size smaller and save your self a trip to the post office. Besides the sizing issue these are very nice boots.
