Perfect for Alaska – I tried these boots on in the shop but they didn’t have them in dark brown (weirdly named “obsidian”), hence my purchase from Zappos. They felt so good on my feet, I immediately asked my friends to leave the shoe section so I could have a private moment. I want to sleep with these boots on, the shearling feels so nice. I haven’t had any trouble with my feet getting cold, even at 20 below, though we haven’t hit 60 below quite yet… I like the easy pull-off style, as everyone in Alaska removes footwear the minute they walk in their cabins, and then they find themselves putting them right back on, to walk to the outhouse. The Frye could look a tiny bit nicer but they still vastly out-sexy all the big, clunky, giant-tread snow boots sold here. I mean, if I wanted to wear bunny boots, I would shop at Army surplus. Also, Zappos got them to me, in Alaska, in under a week, which is practically unheard-of. Very happy with purchase! Will buy more boots here!
It finally happened that I found these super cute pair of boots that fit really fine. I have wide feet and high arches and usually even comfortable shoes doesn’t feel comfy on my feet. I ordered this boot in size 8.5 as many reviews said that it run a bit large so I ordered my regular size and they fit like a glove on my wide feet. I fell in love with these boots the moment I opened the box and saw them. They look amazing and I knew at that point that I am going to look like a star in these now. They fit really well and you won’t believe how many complements I have received on these. This is a five star boot. it is very easy to slip my feet in these and the color blends with nearly everything I wear. They are great and I have received so many nice comments on these as I mentioned before. I don’t buy expensive footwear usually, but I couldn’t resist buying it and now I am satisfied and feel that all my money has went on a right direction and that this boot deserves it. They fit true to size and can be dressed up or down. The quality is also very good. Highly recommended!! :angel:
