  1. Jon Pedersen from New Brunswick, Canada says:

I bought these Keen boots because I walk a lot on wintry country roads and I already had a pair of regular Keen shoes which were great until the snow got too wet and messy. But these “Keen-Dry” boots are fantastic for even the messiest of days. The fit a little more tightly than the shoes (I got the same size in both) so next time I’m going to order the boots a half size larger. And there certainly will be a next time — Keen makes superbly built footwear. Shoebuy has been fantastic too — they keep offering me discounts, even on already discounted items — and their delivery time is lightning fast. I guess you can tell I’m very happy with the product and the company.

The Keen Targhee II Mid is my favorite hiker of all time. It does run about 1/2 size smaller on my than the Targhee II low shoe. I would advise a full size larger, especially if you wear thicker socks. These boots are great for casual or serious hiking. I use them in the winter for snowshoeing, have not gotten cold toes yet. They are the best fitting boot I have ever worn. The only thing I would wish for is more cushioning in the forefoot, for those rocky trails.

Bought these for my son. His feet are growing so fast we were to have no break in period for a 20 mile backpack hike.No problem. Appear to be the same quality construction as all our other wonderful Keen shoes! Great company, Great shoe, and lightning fast delivery from!! Thanks for another great experience!

  4. Russell says:

Thick sole and heel helps end heel pain. Great over rocks. Comfortable. I wear size 15 but needed 16 in these. Mid size but rocks and dirt do not get into shoe on construction job. Shoe is hot on summer days, but so helpful for my sore feet.

  5. John from E Aurora, NY says:

Since I hike a couple of miles before work each day, in wet conditions, I was looking for a comfortable shoe that keeps my feet dry.So far Targhee II has meet my expectations. This is my first time trying a Keen product.

  6. Dawn from Eau Claire, Wisconsin says:

I am a woman who usually wears a women’s size 11 but because they run small I bought a men’s size 9 1/2 and it was a perfect fit. I bought these shoes for hiking and love these shoes because they are very versatile. The toe box is roomy enough that I could wear them when I broke my toe recently. An added bonus was I didn’t have to worry about stubbing it or someone stepping on it with the toe protector. The shoes felt comfortable right out of the box but now that they are broken in, they are like a second skin. I highly recommend these to anyone.

  7. ET from ND says:

This is my third pair. They are comfortable shoes you can wear all day. I like the waterproofing. My feet keep a comfortable temperature year round. The negative on this shoe is they are not long lasting, one year at the most. The waterproofing seems to last about 6 months. I love the shoe but the durability could be improved.

Awesome! Thats the reason I am coming back to buy from you directly. The orignal pair of hiking boots was
recommended by REI and I was a bit hesitiated because of the price. I broke my ankle and torn my ligaments and I need a pair of very stable and steady boots to walk with my ortho inserts inside. After I wore it for a few days – I swearthat I will be one of yr faithful and dedicated customers! I couldnt be more than happy to say that I am walking on clouds everyday!
