These mid cut boots are comfortable and durable for long time usage. They have the KEEN® Patented Toe Protection which provides excellent protection to your toes. In this technology the durable outsole is extended at the front and then folded upwards on the front to provide protective shield for the toe. The slip on design allows you to take on and off these shoes very easily and quickly. The upper is made from the nubuck leather which is fully grained and it has the tabs at the front and back for quick and easy wearing. The lining is made from the faux shearling which is very soft and it keeps the footbed warm and dry by wicking away the moisture and keeping the interior cozy. The collar also has the faux shearling lining which keeps the interior cozy and warm. The interior also has the KEEN®.DRY membrane which is waterproof and keeps your foot dry all day long. The footbed can be removed and it is made from the thermal heat shield. This footbed provides excellent comfort and it also keeps the foot warm. The outsole is made from the rubber which is non-marking and it is designed to provide stability, comfort and durability. The shaft is 5.5 inches high and 13 inches of circumference. I ordered these boots two days ago and now they are in front of me. So far without wearing them for long they feel exceptional. I am living in Boston and my previous winter boots were a crap. This boot has satisfied me to its fill. I have worn these around the home and I must say that the arch support is really great. I am a house wife and I have 4 kids who really make me mad. I don’t have time to wrestle with my boot and I can put these on and off very easily which will save my time and energy. My regular size is 6 and I ordered the same which fits me really well. I am in a testing phase right now and moving around the house. It feel nice and I hope that it will help me and support me even on the longer routes. There is plenty of room without being too big. It is a comfortable and a very light weight boot at the same time very durable as well. I hope they will last for many more years to come. I think it is a fabulous winter boot.
