I bought this shoe because I suffer from tarsal tunnel syndrome and can’t tolerate anything on my heel. This shoe is like a slipper with a thick sole, so can be worn while shopping, etc., but I have to walk carefully because there’s no support–like a slipper.
I spend lots of time walking in a sand arena, so I’m hard on shoes. These Propet slip ons last longer than most I’ve tried and less sand gets in them. I can slip them on and off easily, and they’re comfortable for feet that don’t like shoes. I also find I don’t run over the outsides on these like I do on regular athletic shoes that tie or velcro. The only thing that works better for me is a high lace-up boot, but arena temperatures can run 100+ degrees in the summer and this shoe is cooler.
