Featured Review: (by Miki), This is a good hiking boot, but remember, it’s a MID-hiking boot…so it fits like a high top sneaker. Which is great for summer and stuff, but for deep winter snow you might want something a little higher. It is waterproof, because the only thing really mesh is on the tongue…the rest is like rubber something or other by the toes and on the sides. Fits good, really comfy! Gore-tex is awesome.
LOVELY !! This is a lovely shoe with so many great features. I have used this boot for hiking and I went over the puddles , through the ponds and walked on different kinds of rough terrain and they were perfect. No blisters , no pain , no discomfort , no irritation. They had a great feeling. I could concentrate easily on the hiking while I was in these as they protects your feet in such a way that you forget about your feet and think about other activities. I love the color too. It is a very durable boot yet it is flexible and mold with your feet. Don’t think that they are stiff. They will provide comfort the moment you put these on. It was my first time my Timberland and obviously not the last one. I will purchase more of this brand in future. You will be surprised to see how comfortable these shoes are and how solid they feel. One of my friend is having these from the last 5 years and he says that it is still in a very good condition. I just love them. I not only wear these on hiking , but also while tracking. I was going on a tour to Europe where I had to travel many countries. I didn’t take any other boot except these. I had these on the air port and they felt too good. I had my whole journey in peace. They really supported me well. I won’t say that have to wear these all the time but since they have become my favorite so I pick these up from my wardrobe unconsciously when I am going out. I go out for jogging daily and guess what they are again on my feet supporting and protecting them. I put these with thin socks and some times even without it and they feel awesome in both ways. They absorb all the moisture and keep the feet dry so I wear these even when it is too hot, but I am not sure about winter. I would prefer wearing solid long boots in winters than these. I take them more of a jogging and hiking summer boots. They grip your feet as your mama is holing you and protecting you from falling. I am thoroughly impressed with these. I have tried to figure out any one negative, but failed. I can’t say how they will work after 4 . 5 years, but I am sure that they will never let me down and when They will break. I will definitely replace these with the same new pair. THUMBS UP TIMBERLAND!!
