These boots were a Christmas gift for my son. He chose them from the website and I immediately ordered them with a great promo code that brought the price down $30. The boots turned out to be too big, and then I realized there was no exchange policy..only return/reorder. I sent the boots back with the prepaid label and it took a really long time to get my credit. By that time, the promo code had expired. The first time I called to ask if there was another promo code, I was told to check the website later. But the second time I called, I got a lady named Mary Ann. She made it so that I paid the same amount for the second pair as I’d paid for the first. She did it by giving me a credit after the order, since the promo code had expired. My son wears these boots to school every day now. The only complaint I’ve heard is that they may be too warm for him to wear daily during the summer. Order from Timberland.com with confidence, and ask for Mary Ann!

Active walkers (4-6 miles a day), we value the comfort and support offered but while the upper part of the boot continues to look great, we find that the soles wear out all too quickly. Still we keep buying because we’ve not found anything better so that says a lot!

I first got these boots about 4 years ago. It is the best all around boot for me. I wear them every day to work, i’m a structural designer and I have to go in the field and the shop every now and then. I also wear theses boots when I go out, bars, kids birthdays, riding my motorcycle, etc. The only time I don’t have these boots on is when I am sleeping, or wearing a suit.
I still have my have my other two pairs, which I use for yard work and the other for installing rugs.

The “premium leather” on these boots started to crack after only six months and continued to do so even after treating, which also didn’t do anything about the absence of water resistance. I expected the sole to wear out after a year but I’ve never seen uppers go to pot so quickly.

This is my first pair of Timberland hikers. I put these on right out of the box and they fit great! I struggle with Peripheral Sensory Neuropathy (nerve damaged feet) so comfort is my number one priority and I have been nothing but satisfied with this product. Too soon to tell about durability but I can’t think of any thing else other than to highly recommend these hikers.

I love hiking, and just wore out my North face hikers from 5 years ago.I wanted to try something else,a little less expensive and something stable on my ankles. So here I was looking on Timberland and found these shoes for a good price, but was kind of Leary of ordering off line seeing that I have not tried them on. Of course any pair of new shoes, especially hiking boots are going to give you blisters the first couple times you wear them, but they’ll break in and form to you feet. I do wish they offered a wide version of shoes but that soon will be also formed to my fat feet! The main reason I wanted them is waterproof. I would order from timberland again!

I bought this boot for hiking and to break them in I wore them to work. I work in a grocery store and and constantly coming in and out of refregeration. They keep me warm and feel great! Much better then my previose boot. Now I’m stuck on them. Great boot. I see myself buying another pair.

lightweight shoes. However they have advertised these shoes as waterproof boots. I put these on a test and went in the water with these and they have failed that test miserably. I walked early morning and my boots and socks got soaked with water. I walked on the occasional dew on the grass and even then they got wet. I am disappointed. On the other side the right boot also pushes down on the top of my foot as it flexes. I had a blister which busted and started bleeding the time I came back. Anyway this is my experience.

Great boot! I ordered them during a special […]. I needed them for a winter hike the next day and was a little concerned about them not being fully broken in. However, they were comfortable right out of the box! My only complaint is that the waterproofing doesn’t seem to last, it’s more of a very strong water-resistant boot. After a full day of hiking through 3-4 inch snow/slush they seemed to get a little damp but nothing severe. I’ll continue to use them and just spray them from time to time with water proofing silicon!

I bought a pair of Timberland Cadion XCRs, and though they seemed like they’d be perfect, the plastic speed loop snapped off the first time I tied them on at home. I returned them to the Timberland store, where they were very accommodating, and exchanged them for some waterproof White Ledge hikers (with metal speed loops that won’t break, by the way). They’re comfortable, fit my foot great, keep the Michigan snow from soaking my feet, and feel like they’ll be great on muddy trails when the snow melts.

It is too early to tell. Bought a youth pair early in the year and the eyebolts ripped out after 4 hours of use by my 11 year old. Timberland was a real jerk to deal with on the warranty and had to deal with the store instead. Had a Columbia set that lasted 10 years and a lot of miles. Bought these at a reasonable price and hopeing they will last.

Purchased this same shoe a few years ago for work. Maintaned with periodic Mink Oil treatments (about 3 times a year). Light weight, comfortable, they held up great in a moist, humid (juice manufacturing) environment. Put a lot of miles on them. A great value. That’s why I bought them and will buy them again!

I’ve been using the product for about 4 years now and it hasn’t aged a bit. I used to live in Northern Minnesota and this pair of boots survived with me through the winter months. Excellent for outdoors or matching it with a pair of skinny jeans for an evening out. Best pair of shoes I’ve bought from Timberland.

I am a senior citizen working as a customer service associate in […] plumbing department. I wear these boots every day for work, for hours at a time on my feet, walking back and forth on unforgiving concrete floors, and these boots have been comfortable and durable right out of the box! GREAT boot!

GOOD SHOES!! These timberline white ledge mids are overall very good and practical shoes. I have recently broke them in at Eaton Canyon that is at the base of the San Bernardino. There is still tons of water over there because of the late spring rains. I bought these shoes especially for that and they have performed really well. The gussested tongue shed the water very beautifully. Traction of this shoe is also terrific on the slippery rocks specially. Getting on and out of the boots were very easy which actually saved the time as well. The loop and hook system is very good. They have a good grip power on the tin roofs as well. They can also be worn in a office setting. These are my second pair by Timberland and I look forward to get many more pairs now as they are awesome. These boots are very comfy and reliable. This shoe feels wider than marked but as I am a flat feet so I ordered 12N which fits me perfectly. One more good thing is that the insole can be removed therefore I have added a new one in this too. I have added cheap and flat insole under this timberland insole and now the shoe is a bit tighter. I will take these out while going out for hiking as I have to wear my thick hiking socks then. These are the best boots I have ever bought in 12 hours a day. They are very comfy and feel very good too. They not only feel comfy right out of the box, but also fit perfectly. Overall I give these boots high ratings and look forward wearing these Timberland to a better test soon as next month I am going to Yosemite. I will write another review then. Highly Recommended Shoes!!
