These are the only pair of comfortable shoes I have ever own. I have chronic painful area on the ball of my right foot which is really disturbing. This shoe keeps my feet warm in cool weather and at the same time my feet remain dry in hot weather which means that it wicks away all the moisture and keep my feet dry. I have worn these on low impact hikes, lots of walking and my feet are never hurt. I have been wearing a similar shoe like this one before and I needed a new pair for which I have selected this one. Since my old pair is no longer offered, I bought these as I thought that these must be the most ideal pair for me and I was absolutely right. I got these boots finally and they were comfortable right out of the box and they felt like they have made for my feet. They run true to size and It was such a relief to finally get a pair which is light weight and also water proof. They are really good for a casual office setting or outside on the trails and through the muck. I am very pleased with the performance of these boots. They are comfortable and wonderful. The leather is of high quality and the arch support is too good too. I would highly recommend these. I hiked in these for the first time and felt really pleased as they were really comfortable. They are roomy enough to accommodate my 8 ½ width feet and they are good with medium weight hiking socks. They look really good with my flared bottomed jeans. I am proud of this shoe!!!
