I bought these shoes to use while i workout. I liked them as they look great with my black workout pants. Its comfortable however more padding more padding in the heel area could make it more comfortable. Actually I usually wear running shoes for most of my workouts maybe that’s why I’m use to of more padding. But I did not buy these shoes to use as running shoes; I just fell in love with the looks. I like to put it on when I go to the grocery stores and a casual walk and, I am very happy with them, for this price the shoes are just awesome. I am use to ordering a size up in sneakers, I wear a 8, but in sneakers I always order 9, and I must say I have never been disappointed with the size because the size gives and extra room in the toe box and I can add my orthotics. So if you are looking to buy a pair of sneaker there is nothing much special about it, these are just a pair of sneakers you will buy to use for walking or running however it looks really great and they really do have good arch support :tongue:
These walking shoes felt comfortable when I first put them on. No breaking in was required. I wear them almost daily, and they are the most comfortable shoes for walking I have worn in a very long time. I would consider buying another pair. The shoe is a nice style. I got the taupe, and it looks good, too.
I buy Avia shoes whenever possible. I’ve never had a problem w/sizing – always 8-1/2B. Every style I’ve ordered has always been true to size, and I’ve never had to return a single pair. I wear them to my Jazzercise classes, spinning and rowing. I recently ordered a pair for water aerobics – they fit perfectly. Love Avia!
I bought the them because they are the only ones that I can put on and feel comfortable in from day one. These shoes have a lot of toe room in the box area so your feet do not feel cramped. I wish they had a little more padding inside but I took care of that problem by buying gel inserts.
