These boots are awesome in every way. I was searching for a boot that is just short of backpacking boot and are not rugged enough to handle rocky and uneven terrain with a day pack and these are the perfect one for that. I also use these to do long walks because they are extremely comfortable and supportive. Just like my other Merrell boots they are also made for a women’s feet. My heel is small and toe is wider due to small bunions and I have suffered with massive blisters as well because of the poor fitting boots. Thank God these are not like that. I have never experienced any blister the day I started wearing Merrell the best brand ever. I will never wear anyother brand now because this brand and completely satisfied my sensitive feet. I love Merrell women;s light hikers. They have taken some breaking in time, but you can say only a few hours. After breaking these in you can even walk for miles in supportive comfort. I even use these as a trial running shoe which is better for your feet and ankles especially on uneven terrain. Another good and interesting point is that they are water proof. You will enjoy the ride in these for sure. Laces provides a perfect fit and the color is deep and beautiful. Heel height is also good and weight is also less which makes me wear these again and again. I would highly recommend these to everyone. Go for these!!
