I wear a size 9-1/2 3E Wide shoe which poses a problem for me: I can seldom find shoes (other than dress shoes) that are stylish, functional *and* come in 3E width. As a result, I tend to spend a lot of time in New Balance tennis shoes. I was a little dubious ordering these as the website stated they were also available in “Wide” but not how wide. However, these fit – and were comfortable – straight out of the box! They look great, feel great after a full day wearing them (adequate arch support) and the wife loves ’em. My first pair of Merrells – and I’m sure they won’t be my last. Thanks Merrell and Shoebuy!

The Merrell Moab Ventilator is a great shoe. It is very lightweight easy to wear and the color scheme gives it a classy appeal. The shoe is a bit bigger than my other size eight footwear but I love how it fits none-the-less. It offers a unique presentation for a tennis shoe unlike the usual brand names, it has excellent sole traction with a very unique design. As far as I’m aware Merrell makes very durable footwear so I decided to buy a pair to judge for myself. The laces are made of bungy type material, they are very easy to tie but they also easily come loose by themselves so it requires a double knot. I am mostly pleased with my tennis shoe and wear it quite a lot.

I purchased these shoes for summer hiking, and I love them! My feet are much more comfortable during summer hikes while wearing these shoes. I have hiked about 75-80 miles while wearing these shoes since I purchased them about 45 days ago, and I highly recommend them. The Vibram soles are very durable and provide wonderful grip.

I was concerned when purchasing this shoe for my 36 year old son as a birthday gift that he would feel the style was not to his liking. He loved the style and the fit. As far as I know, he has not yet worn the shoe, but he said he definitely wanted to keep the shoe. I had purchased a Merrell shoe previously for my daughter who works in the medical profession and she has since purchased two more pairs. I think we will continue shopping the Merrell brand.

My very active son wore these every single day to school for an entire year. In the past, I had to buy him a new pair every three months with other brands. Merrells really last and the tread is just amazing. He could still go hiking in them today. I bought the exact same shoe for this fall – just in a bigger size. I will continue to do so for as long as he’ll wear them. You’ll save money in the long run. AAA+++

This is my fifth pair of these shoes. I wear these shoes about 10 hours a day. They are extremely comfortable, fit true to size and do a great job at allowing your foot to breathe. They also seem to dry more quickly than a standard shoe. Becuase of the nature of the design, these shoes might not be as durable as a pair of similar all- leather shoes. Nevertheless, they perform quite well and I am happy to trade off a couple of months of extra wear for all the additional benefits that this shoe offers.

I bought the Men’s Merrell Moab Ventilator to take to the Disney World because everyone knows how much walking you will do in Orlando!! I was really impressed with how comfortable these shoes were…I even would suggest to NOT wearing any socks to break them in. I have never own a pair of Merrell shoes but have heard good things about them and I am now officially hooked and understand why so many of my friends and co-workers have been wearing them for years!!

I bought these shoes in advance of traveling to Utah’s national parks in August. I was warned that I should not bring the shoes new to Moab, that I should break them in in advance as to not create an uncomfortable foot situation. It was not necessary. The shoes feel great. I could have hiked wearing them right out of the box. If you need a pair of hiking shoes, these fit the bill at an affordable price.

This is my third pair of this shoe. I wore out my first pair and now have two pair, one in each color. I love them for light hiking, travel, long days at the San Diego Zoo, San Diego Wild Animal Park, and other such venues. I have just arrived in Australia, where I expect to wear them in eucalyptus forests, rain forests, and out in the bush. But they are great everyday shoes too, and I wear them often at home in Los Angeles.

Though shoe’s pretty heavy, and sole seems thick, the factory insole is too thin/inadequately cushioned to protect heel/sole from bruising. Had to replace with full sof-gel insole(Dr. Scholl) for better protection from road/street shock. (extra $14)

True to size and breathable. Not all leather and not all mesh. working outside when it’s wet then dry your footwear MUST be flexible with you, this shoe is, so far. It is holding up to the dewing morning and my feet are not getting wet; and the hot dry afternoons my feet are able to breath. Being Merrells the comfort is also there. After trying several other models this is the best so far.
