I have Morton’s Neuroma. But I don’t want to quit my walks. Running shoes/Athletic shoes, even the good ones, weren’t up to the challenge. I have several pairs of Propets but the Village Walkers are by far the most comfortable. Lots of room in the toe box. They are soft to walk on, yet, somehow have lots of support. I’ve been complimented several times on the looks. All in all a pretty good buy for under a $100, I’d say. And now I’m buying a brown pair just because. These are keepers folks.
This was the first time I purchased Propet shoes. I purchased them as work shoes that would match an otherwise professional outfit. I work in a hospital and am on my feet most of the day. I was happy that these were made of real leather. The first 2/3rds of the sole is nice and inflexible. The front of the shoes are pointy, and felt slightly cramped for my toes. I am not sure a wide width would correct this problem. In addition, there is not much cushioning to surround the front of my foot–I expected more for a sneaker. Finally, the shock absorption in the heel is okay but could be somewhat better. Overall, I am satisfied and will continue to wear these shoes, but will look for better shoes in the future.
