Featured Review: (Pete P.), My first pair of 8″ Timberlands are 25 years old. I still use them working around the yard, doing trail work, chainsawing etc., but they are getting pretty beat up. I was very pleasantly surprised that my new 8″ boots are exactly the same outstanding rugged quality as the old ones. In a world were everything has been cheapened and true quality is hard to find, I am happy to report that these boots are the real thing. Timberland, you can get as “fancy” as you want with the rest of your line, but don’t EVER change these 8″ boots!! They are perfect as is.

Great product for specific uses, e.g., travel, wear in cold, snowy weather. This is my second pair of exactly the same boots. The first I had for quite a few years until they finally wore out. Only issue is the width. I have narrow feet and these are sized no smaller than medium. But, they are on the narrow side of medium so wearing them is reasonably comfortable. Also, very responsive customer service department.
Have had several pairs over the past 25 years, both the wheat #12281 and a pair or two in black. My favorite boots ever, whether for the office (under chinos) or just out and about (worn loose, with an old pair of jeans tucked in). Sure wish we could customize these in color and stitching on this website, like the 6-inch.
I have worn this Brand since they came to market in the 70’sCurrently have two pair. I am general Contractor/ Hunter and buy two pairs a year, then when I do not need the old pair I give them to somebody who could not afford quality boots. I lost count after 30 on how many times I have bought this boot over 35 years
