Featured Review: (by Tom HVAC), I first purchsed a pair of these boots back in 2006, and its currently 2011 I havent really worked hard in them up until the last 2 1/2 years, the boots are remarkably durable, they are comfortable and do ecellent in cold weather, they also look good in anything you wear they become more flexible the more you wear them, if youre looking for a versitle,multipurpose boot, these are the ones for you!
I received a pair as a gift several years ago and found them to be a very comfortable boot that wears like an athletic shoe. They are great if you are on your feet alot, they will not leave your feet feeling fatigued. Highly recommend this boot. Since receiving my first pair I have purchased two additional pairs and will continue to purchase them in the future.
Tough as nails pair of boots…bought primarily to hike but they’re too heavy for that. Best used as a work boot for outdoor chores around the yard. A little stiff, they take a while to break in. Very stable. Front/toe is rugged, stiff and good at deflecting blows to the big toe. Look great.
I tow for a living and these boots are perfect for hot weather when its rainy.They’re light and waterproof,to an extent,(heavy downpours,floods etc).I had to add an extra sole for comfort which should not deter you from making this purchase. I recomemnd these boots for anyone with similar interests.Steve
These have come in a variety of patterns and colours in the past, I bought a pair of these a few years ago in a black and grey combo.
Although the leather is scuffed and the black dye has started to fade, the tread still looks almost new! They’ve got a good weight to them, and will give you a sturdy step. They’ve gone through 2 Canadian winters, and should easily make it through a third this year.
These are excellent general purpose boots. I haven’t yet used them in very cold weather but I imagine they’ll be good, and certainly warmer than any sneaker. The only shortcoming they have are the laces, which I feel are too short and thin. These are easily replaceable however.
