This sandal was what I was looking for. It’s not a totally flat sandal, so it looks nice with capris or a skirt. I have a narrow foot, so I wanted a shoe with an adjustable strap since it doesn’t come in a narrow width. The strap has enough holes in it so I could find one for my foot. The leather seems to be treated and holds up well to moisture or drops of liquid. It doesn’t seem to stain easily. I find them comfortable for walking. Wear at least 4 or more times a week for casual wear as well as the office.
I’ve resisted paying this much for a pair of sandals, but I must have narrow shoes with a good arch support. I finally sprang for these Mephistos. They’re wonderfully comfortable, are adjustable to fit my narrow feet, wore only one tiny sore spot on my toe at first (I’ve had surgery that makes that toe weird.), and have been entirely satisfactory. I guess you do get what you pay for! I’ll have to start saving for another pair.
